It's way worse than this video show it I can't believe someone went to all the trouble of making such a great video and made it look like like it was under control. This is an outrage. The oil industry has no idea how to clean up an oil disaster of this magnitude. they are overwhelmed and so much red tape is involved in the processing of everything it will be a long time before anything gets done.

Well let's put it this way. I live in south Mississippi. I do alot of Coastly fishing. Mostly in the LA Marsh. All I can say is stuff happens. It's no ones fault stuff just happens. That's the problem with the world today, it has to be someones fault. Well guess what it might as well be our fault, the peoples fault, because we allow companies to drill in our coast. This makes me really sad to see these images. I hope this oil spill gets taken care of very soon because this is going to be extremely devastating for years to come. It's way worse than this video show it I can't believe someone went to all the trouble of making such a great video and made it look like like it was under control. This is an outrage. The oil industry has no idea how to clean up an oil disaster of this magnitude. they are overwhelmed and so much red tape is involved in the processing of everything it will be a long time before anything gets done.

The rich doesn't have to answer to us but they will have to answer to God. we all will pay for our sins. Do what you can and leave the rest to God. We are all human. We can't carry the world on our shoulders. Those that are responsible and those in power, who are turning a blind eye to this for whatever reason will pay. It's going to be a mighty hot day in hell. No organization has done more to promote strong national policies to end our addiction to oil and transition to a cleaner energy future. You should check out EDF President Fred Krupp's book Earth: The Sequel or Eric Pooley's new book The Climate War to get a sense of EDF's work in this area.

whilst it is heartbreaking to see birds covered in oil: i'd like to remind you yanks of a few facts. 1, amount to be paid by BP: $20 billion (and quite right too!), 2, the amount paid to the victims of Bhopal by Dow Chemicals: Zero. Also, no american has EVER been put on trial in India for a crime that has killed over 25,000 people. Please spread the word. This is typical usa gov' hypocrisy.

the people who are doing the actual clean up have entire body suites and ventilation system masks there are gases being released which will eventually spread through out the world. This was not a mistake people look at the evidence Goldman Sachs sold 44% of BP owned stocked since January this year CEO of BP sold 1.7 billion pounds of share up to a week before the disaster and guess who worked on the oil rig hours before explosion Haliburton if that doesn't convince you go play in traffic

This is an accident. This is an unfortunate occurrence. This is not a tragedy. 60 days? Some Pelicans and sea turtles with oil on them. Try SEVEN YEARS of genocide in Darfur and Sudan. That's tragedy. I highly doubt that the 15 year old girl taking care her younger siblings on a dirt floor in a mud hut couldn't care less about this "tragedy" all she wants to do is make sure she lives another day and feeds her family.

We're blaming Obama and BP when we need to be blaming the general deep oil practices and ourselves for not using cleaner energy methods. What do you expect Obama to DO about this? And BP was just a scapegoat; it could've happened to any company, it just happened to be BP. This happened because we refuse to live 5-10 years of inconveniences as we switch globally over to a cleaner energy source. Because of us, those wildlife will never come back and that water will never be the same. Not BP.

Actually BP is to blame. They used a less than par shutoff valve to protect from instances like this. If a company can shortcut to save money, that's what they are going to do. There's nothing wrong with pumping oil if its done correctly.

Well let's put it this way. I live in south Mississippi. I do alot of Coastly fishing. Mostly in the LA Marsh. All I can say is stuff happens. It's no ones fault stuff just happens. That's the problem with the world today, it has to be someones fault. Well guess what it might as well be our fault, the peoples fault, because we allow companies to drill in our coast. Get what I am saying? It's anybodys fault. Stop blaming stuff on people. Shit happens. Deal with it. Move on.

This makes me really sad to see these images. I hope this oil spill gets taken care of very soon because this is going to be extremely devastating for years to come. It's already beginning to take its toll and I can't imagine how much worse it will get if this leak doesn't stop. I don't live near the Gulf, but my heart goes out to the people who do.
