  • very nice song

  • This songs brings me right back to those days ,those lazy summer afternoons in Brooklyn,

those night lights that will live forever etched in my memory, Thanks Stanley for your jazz!

  • Want to hear more music similar to this sound? Try Freddie Hubbard "Bundle of Joy", Donald Byrd "Onward 'Til Morning", Michael Lington "Sunset", Marcio Montarroyos "Sabor de Tarde", Claus Ogerman Orchestra "Caprice", Dave Valentine "Sea Pines" and Spyro Gyro "It Doesn't Matter". These should get you off to a good start to a good autumn day.

  • I love this track, I've got two copies of the LP, I hear David T. Walker too, very identifiable.

  • I remember Stanley Turrentine.....and this song more than any other.

  • Does anybody have Tarmac by this genius ?

  • Do you have Stanley Turrentine Blanket on the beach from the same album. If so please post. Love this song. Will always be one of my favorites.

  • Memories!! the Gentleman I met 37 yrs ago and my Sr. of 16 yrs reconnected recently & he reintroduced me to Stanley's music. i love the 70's and u 2. We laugh now cuz we call it "Motel Music". P.S. if you're from Jersey I know you heard this specialty at the blue Swann Motel (shamed faced)! but to get back home from the motel 2 yr partner again, don't listen to deeply in love, cuz u will check out late. (smile)!

  • It's beautiful sax; astoundingly so.

  • This has to be one of Stanley Turrentine's finest hours. Once you hear this song you'll never forget it. Nor will you tire of hearing it. This is a thing of beauty that should have gotten plenty of airplay. Really makes one feel good just listening to it. Actually, there are no words that can describe this song.

  • Let me add to all the nice comments below and thank you, also, Boswell69, for all the great smooth jazz posts you've done. This is another of my all-time favorites. I've got the album it's on but it's so much easier hearing a song on YouTube than cycling an old LP. God rest you, Mr. T. You were one of the best!

  • I listened to this album through high school and college when it came out. It's so easy to feel good when listening to this. Thanks for putting it on YouTube!

  • Thanks for posting this.
