Although it wasn't intended as a poem, this is great prose. IMO, it's a poem. Edgar Allan Poe is still my favorite poet, but i must say, these few lines in Macbeth are IMO, the best poem ever written by humankind. This poem IMO truly sums up the history of humankind. I memorized this way back in high school.

i agree that it's nicer with some despair/ insecurity. yet, i qutie like the anger in this one- sometimes just before despair you get this feeling of real rage which i feel really comes across in this
