I'm working in Japan now, I'm watching this from the staff room and I'm talking to my co-workers about this episode this is not what Japan is like, this is so steriotypical

well i live in Mie Ken on the JET program and most of Japan is really rural. Only in Shibuya and Namba in Osaka do you get experience like this and now it's changing dramatically since the economic recession in the 1990's its opened up more and really influenced by the west. In my experience its the gaijin from the west who are more like this then the japanese

@eca04jsn but its interesting. also jonathan ross reports on aspects of subculture in japan rather than the culture as a whole, as there are many. its probably impossible to make a documentary on an entire culture of any country
