Those box colors are just like box relaxers, they dont work half the time....I use dark n lovely when i was relaxed and it was honey blonde and it didnt really turn out right..thanks for the info :-)
Ummm. I use Dark N Lovely...And I never had a problem. I guess its not everyone it dosen't work for. I love it, and I've never heard anything bad about the brand untill now.
@jbed202 And I'm the opposite, I've heard nothing but bad things about DNL. You're the first person honestly who has not had problems with their hair after using it. Glad it works for you.
I am an inch away from growing out my perm. My length is past my shoulders to the and is naturally curly. I go to Dominican salon to get wash/set & new growth blown out to match perm on the ends. Past 2 years I've been lucky in not having breakage or having to do the big chop. Loving my natural hair, much healthier now. My problem now is my gray hairs. I use a rinse, but debating permanent color. Does using permanent color defeat the purpose of going natural & will it damnage my natural now :(
@DehNaturalOne I would get it professionally done. I haven't had any problems with my color. Aveda is supposed to be gentler, so you may want to try that. :)
Hi i had my hair colored permantely back in april and the color is all but grown out, can i use the same permanent color to re-color my hai,r or do i have to use a semi- permanent hair color. I really love the color i had.
ooppps wish I would have seen this before I put in Dark n lovely box color yesterday. What can i do now? any suggestions as far as conditioning. Next time I will go to Aveda.
@kekedj214 Deep condition weekly for at least 30 minutes with heat. Minimize heat and manipulation. Avoid products with a lot of alcohol. Moisturize and seal twice a day. You may not have any adverse reactions, but these are good precautions.
Hi there! Love, love your channel. Thanks for the tips. This is off topic, but I've been wondering about your length for a while. Would you please do a length check soon? Also, how long have you been natural? Thanks again for all you do:)
