why does it say "Last of the James Bay Fiddlers" there are still alot of james bay fiddlers, 5 of my cousins are fiddlers I almost became one too there alot of fiddlers here in chisasibi.
I love James' fiddling! I had the pleasure of hearing him and his family at fiddletunes this past summer..........thanks James....and thanks to the videographer for posting this ! I have posted a number of his videos here on u tube...just do a search for james cheechoo.
I am so glad that I got to see James and Daisy perform at the G.O.O.P 2008 this year. I grew up in southern Ontario, watching the Fiddlers Of James Bay. In my year and a half stay here in Moose factory, I only got to see a handful of fiddlers but I truley enjoyed James' performance.
this so reminds me of back home and my Dad...this guy sure can play the spoons I love this so much....
