This is a great video! It really is a good tribute to pipeliners worldwide. I am proud to say I am a second generation pipeliner and am thankful to all the brothers and sisters that worked hard to pave the way for those that have come after them!

hey Gypsyatkins enjoyed your video. looks like a decent job over there. Wondering if it's possible to join the union with a working visa. I'm from scotland but wouldn't mind giving your country a visit for a season.
i like the old pics. we lost all our old pics in a house fire and we lost a hand at the same time plus, loosing my dad. aka quick draw. no fingers on right hand,. all he had was his thumb.
If you still didn't find out how to go union and are still interested look me up and I will get you to all the proper people. We are of the 798 union!!!
My thanks to whoever put this video together. I found it late one night, and to my surprise the 4th photo with the men in front of the truck, the 2nd man from the left was my DAD Tommy Truelove. He was a 35-40 yr. member of 798 joining in 1950. I grew up following the pipeline jobs, some of the best yrs. of my life. Most of the Pipeliners I grew up with are gone now including my DAD. So thanks again for bringing back some great memories!! ex- 798 member Buck Truelove.
I have great pictures of some of my pipelines but don't know how to do the slideshow...any tips? Love this by the way...great job!

This is a great video, it shows a long history that is not often seen. If everyone worked as hard as we do the world would be a better place.

These men built more than pipelines...they built our country.

definitely looks allot more fun to pipeline their in the dust with less safety crap and no -45c weather like we have.
nothing finer then a pipeliner, no matter where you work. pipeliners make the rest of the world look lazy
