@amalgamation25 It's always nice to eat the local food. The young coconuts are terrific. Check out the farmers market for some great Hawaiian produce. There are so many great restaurants as well. We checked out Alan Wong's Pineapple Room. We also like Roy's and Duke's. On the North Shore, be sure to grab the mahi sandwich at Ted's Bakery in Sunset Beach.
wow cant wait to see ur new tips!! i just got some shrimps to cook the garlic shrimp u posted! i got the paprika and the cayenne pepper (which was a bit hard to find hehe)!
What an extraordinary view! Have a great time, Chef Jason.
btw Chef, if you like nature, you should visit Iceland in the summer. I went there last year in July for a week. (There is no darkness whole day in the summer!) Right now is a good time to go cuz the currency and their economic situation.
Summer is very nice in Iceland. It is 80-90 during the day, and 60-70 at night. Some days might be colder. The weather changes all the time.
Although it is the summer, we were able to do snowmobiling in the Glacier, whale and puffin watching, putrefied shark tasting, rafting, visit blue lagoon, lots of hiking, ... so much to do!
If you like, I can send my Iceland pictures to you via message. :)
I live in hawaii. Um.. theres this place that offers plate lunches for really cheap. The name is rainbows drive in and is in the kapahulu district. are you staying in waikiki?
If you ever have the chance to go, it is worth it. I am lucky my brother lives over here. It's pretty cool having a personal travel guide who let's us crash out at his home too! Haha!
@ryan50ryan Great! We'll have plenty, ranging from Hawaiian Huli Huli Chicken to (hopefully) a Kalua Pig made with Ti leaves in my brother's back yard in Haleiwa.
Lucky, I've always wanted to go to Hawaii. Is it fun?
