These people haven't got a clue. Your all saying how bad it will be to have a supermarket in Newcastle Emlyn. But when it goes ahead and gets built. I bet some of you will be shopping in there when you can't what your looking for.

Do you know if the proposed supermarket begins with a T and ends with an O? Or is that just speculation.

I have no idea. Isn't there meant to be some decision made beginning of March?

Oh dear. Yes the traffic is going to be horrendous through Emlyn High Street. Everything is really going to change there isn't it? Its going to be so busy. In the last 10 years the volume of traffic has increased through the town significantly anyway. Looks like Emlyn's quaint, uniqueness is going to be changed forever with the supermarkets. And two supermarkets at once.

We are one of the unique shops in Newcastle Emlyn and part of the Action Group and ALL of our customers, be they local, or from other parts of the country and the world, all have said that the town would be ruined if another supermarket came into town. Our unique shops create a wonderful ambiance and we have been told that we are a friendly lot! The supermarket will not only threaten our trade but kill our tight knit community who rely on us for everything. You can buy all you need in NCE.
