Ok, I see some people in the comments missing the point. The BBA Mega Man idea would been funny if Capcom haven't cancelled Mega Man Universe. They gave bad box art Megaman the backstory of Megaman Volnutt. They actually included the biography of the cancelled Legends 3 and applied it to this Megaman. That is the BIGGEST FUCK YOU To the fans, and to Keiji Inafune to some extent.

Megaman X would have been a much better inclusion than his classic bad box art counterpart. Fans would have seen him in better light in addition to X's build being compatible to the rest of the cast. But it seems that the main point to these playstation exclusive characters is to have a group of joke characters. But in megaman's case, its not a very good joke and it's not funny at all except to the company itself obviously. That being said, its a bad joke, but a successful troll.

I'm no Megaman fan but I see no problem with this seeing that this is basically a harmless joke on Capcom's part (with Inafune's consent), what i find sad is that Megaman fans are once upon a time crying for Universe's cancellation b/c they will never play as Bad Box Art Mega Man but now after we got the announcement that we can for SFxT (for PS3 and Vita no less).. Fans are pissing and moaning just like Sonic fans.

I think it would have come off as much better if this was within the sea of other already planned Mega Man titles and spinoffs but now that they've all been cancelled and this is all that we have, what I'm sure was originally just a one-off humoous poke at the series comes off as much more aggrivating.

I agree that it was a bad idea, but at this point it was too late to take him out, it was probably planned a long time ago back when Universe wasn't cancelled. to me his inclusion is both funny and cringe-worthy at the same time, but its not a big deal as people are making it out to be.
