Bowski isn't grabbed by an alien. Dietrich sets Frost on fire when her flamethrower goes off as she is grabber. Frost had the bag full of pulse rifle mags, and it explodes, and that takes out Bowski.

@Phatose As far as I can tell, Crowe was the only one wasted by the explosion of the ammo. This is evidenced by his vitals going flat (you see the video monitors in the APC) while Bowski was only knocked down. Following the explosion, the video from his helmet camera seems to indicate that he was grabbed, and on top of that you can hear him screaming and somebody (Hicks? Drake? Hudson?) yelling "Wierzbowski! Wierzbowski!" immediately before Vasquez opens fire ("LET'S ROCK!").

@torukmakto4 if I remember correctly she put a grenade round from the M41A pulse rifle's pump action grenade launcher, but that's just me, I havent seen the movie in a few years.

@Napalmxxx2 Yeah. Those grenades are designed to be detonated manually as well as being fired from the PR's underslung launcher. Vasquez and Gorman use one to commit suicide and waste a bunch of Aliens in the process after Vas shoots an Alien and gets injured by acid in the ducts.

@Napalmxxx2 Yep. The M40 grenade is described in USCM weapons documentation.The fuse is activated by removing a plastic cap and pushing the button in the nose of the round. Look at that scene with Vas and Gorman and you will see them pop the cap off and push the button.
