Does anyone know where I can find the song they played on the first stage of this game in the hotel while you were running around? And not that stupid ass one with the girl singing some bullshit...the pleasant instrumental one.
I first got this game in 2006 as a rental and absolutely adored it, I fell in love with all the characters and the plot and lived and breathed it. It's been about 5 years now. I got a PS3 and Xbox 360 but I still go back and play this old game on my faithful PS2 every few weeks or so. Star Ocean TtoT is a masterpiece and I will keep playing it -- 'till the end of time.

@Mohamedahmed331 You can get Sophia and Maria's MP way past that, though I don't see the point. I never get why people use MP berries on either of them, they are the last ones to get hit if you know what you're doing (or even if you don't, the AI are fairly good about it). The berries are much better spent elsewhere.
@Lyrvana Like, when you're doing the cutscenes and stuff? Nah. That would be so freaking cool though. I swear I'd make Albel wear any costume but his regular one. His other costumes look so much better and so much manlier than freaking purple. At least in his 2p costume his skin is covered and in his 4p his shirt is off. In his 3p he's wearing pants but I actually don't like that one as much.

Really kewl costumes. I really liked Fayts really super cool costume, the last one on the VS mode one. Wish I could see the full costume.
And ppl you need to remember, even if some of their costumes look like other characters from the FF games, this is SQUARE ENIX we're talking about. Its made by the same ppl who made the FF series, so its no surprise they'd really do this.
i played Sophia and its really hard to level them up in a really hard place. but once you get to Gemity and go to the transporter thing you can go to Elicoor and level up Sophia and Peppita.
I can't kill Freya!!! im shocked i finally got there. My party is lvl 205 even!! Fayt has 60000 HP and 3000 MP Nel Has 50000 and like 5000 MP and Sophia has 25000 HP and 10000 MP. I feel like i'm strong!! but when i fight freya i die so quick does that mean im weak? And noone told me sophia had the least HP and the most MP of the game:/
If you're on galaxy mode, level up to 255, synth fayt's weapon with 8 30% atk/def attributes, use all the defence+ berries, then try fighting her. I thought this was common knowledge?
Mirage's maid outfit is far sexier then any hip movements I see coming from Sophia. :D
@ArzyFTFW I'm on galaxy mode, and for some reason we can't beat Lenneth.... My party is Fayt, cliff, and sophia. (sophia concentrates on healing.) I created battle boots and synthed them 3 times to veinslay (the other slots filled with attack 1000's). cliff has a powerful weapon with atk plus 500s and an atk/def plus 30 percent. and well i could keep going but I can't figure out how to beat her.... = ( We're all around lvl 226...
HOW DID YOU LEVEL UP YOUR CHARACTERS ALL THE WAY GEEZ and than there is one disappointment in the game the fact that sophia and pepita come into the game so late
I didn't even know this game had alternate costumes. they should let you have those from the beginning. the two toughest guys in the game wear a dress and a BDSM outfit respectively. They put Albel in a goddamn tube top. that's fucked up.
@anime13god I always keep one character at a very low level (to activate the battle bonus easily). Usually it's Adray, but I needed him at 255 for my impossible to kill video. So yeah, Cliff took it like a man.
@DarthRevan1051 I played it before, never got through it, but only because I was renting it and it's a huge game. I really liked it, the story is interesting, and it's different every time you play it, meaning you have different choices in some dialogues, and depending on which you choose, something different happens in the game. It's not a huge difference, but it's still interesting. I would get it, I thought it was cool. Hope this helped! Happy gaming!

Hey, oh, by the way, what have you exactly done to the items Albel's wearing, to get his Defence that high? Did you alter them by a specified plan or synthesis? I'm having a bit of a problem with that, cuz I used up all the materials, so I started the game over to collect them and use them wisely.

You can look some help up using google and find where all the Card's for them both. The wierd thing is, I found Mirage's Card on one account but didn't find Adray. 3 accounts afterwards, I found Adray's card but forgot how to get Mirage's Lol!
before u fight crossel, stay at peternys inn.albel will wake u up,the dangerous way.u have tell him that u dont hate him.
if u dont recruit him then,u will have to fight him first 1-on-1 in crossels place later when u get the chance to return to elicoor,provided u didnt recruit pepita.
this is why i made 2 saves b4 fighting crossel.1 save with albel n pepita;n the other save with nel n roger.
by the way,how high is your level (average)?i wanna grind but i dont know the best place for that.grinding till lvl 255 will take a long time after all.
Actually, if you use 5x20% xp, triple xp battle bonus. I can lvl from 100 to 255 in about an hour.
I do most of my leveling in Sphere211. The 2 dragons in the arena also give a huge amount of xp AND cash. I usually level Maria there while gaining money since she can easily solo them both.
ok,so thats 5 ring of erudition,triple xp battle bonus,n some combat training skills.that makes sense.keeping the battle bonus gauge intact will be a bit problem though.

If possible, get as many boots of poweress from making or finding them and follow this:
1. Refine the boots till they are 30%
2. Synthesis them to your weapons to gain a lot of defence as well as offence
3. Repeat this to your main characters
You may get immunity to damage which is good. You may also want to use berries found in the Sphere (211 floors) I believe. For game play, you should stock up with stuns and stun them if you encounter trouble. Destroy the other person first, then Fayt.
How do you get these? Sorry I just got this game from Gamestop yesterday. I looked on google but they talk of battle trophies but I just don't get it. Anyone care to explain? Thanks!^^
These are my favorite costumes, and sometimes I still don't know which ones to stick with. Anyway... Fayt - Costume 2 or 3 Sophia - 2 Cliff - 4 Mirage - 1 Nel - 2 Roger - 1 Pepitta - 3 Maria - 3 Albel 1 or 4 Adray - 3 or 4 They all look great! Took me a long time to unlock them all, especially Fully Active Mode. It was worth it, damn it! :D
Hmm...well I made the boots of prowess, yet I can't quite refine them more than they are already able to be refined, I think the max defense on each one is +30%
Lil question. Theres only 7 slots for chars in the main menu for so3. Can you collect all chars in the game at once? Or is it limited to 7 chars?
If its limited then I'm fucked ^_^ I want peppita, mirage and sophia but I already have roger, adray and albel from earlier in the game. Dont suppose theres any way to "dismiss" them?
There is a limit of 7 and no more than that. You can only choose a maximum of 2 extra chacters out of the 4 (Adray, Roger, Albel and Nel). Have 2 accounts with the 2 different chacters each. Adray is needed in the game. You can't decide not to get him. There is no way to dismiss them so you have to make the account again. Sorry ^.^ but I had to do that too to get peppita and albel. If i'm wrong about the "dismiss" and/or adray permanent, I'd like to know how to get rid of Adray or dismiss.
Adray is not required. You just need to not go where you meet him at the moment it happens to bypass him. I did it in a playthough or two. But i don't remember cause i have not played this in like...2 years:(
@YumeriaYumi Well, you get Adray as you go into the story, how can you get all character slots filled before you see him(Since you'll need to get all characters to get him out)? I mean, I forget, can you get sophia before or after you see Adray? If you see sophia after, then she would be an optional character, but she is a required one. I am sure Adray is a permanant chacter.
Yea that could be how it is. Well either way it does not matter in the end. I only use Fayt Cliff and Nel or albel...or cliff out for my fav pepittaXD. But all the aside i love the game the way it is:)
Their are multiple ways in getting boots of poweress. One way is making them using the crafting ability in the workshops. The cost for it is around 4000 fol but I know you can make it. Another way of getting it is when you beat the game (I did it this way) but not reqruit albel. Go to where you found crowswell and you should see him. He just stands there and offers to fight fayt and fayt only. Once defeated you get boots of poweress (I only done this 8 times in a row and got bored). Good luck...

1. have nel in your party. NOT albel
2. at sometime later in the game you can fight albel in the crossel's lair. fight him there
3. win each time to get boots of prowess.
4. craft the boots of prowess to upgrade the atk/def percentage increase
5. craft all the boots of prowess into their most powerful weapons.
6. after this is done you should have enough defense to take absolutely no damage from freya.
7. def. must be 5000 for this to work.

Hey, oh, by the way, what have you exactly done to the items Albel's wearing, to get his Defence that high? Did you alter them by a specified plan or synthesis? I'm having a bit of a problem with that, cuz I used up all the materials, so I started the game over to collect them and use them wisely.

You need the Director Cut edition. Every English version is Director Cut.

You can look some help up using google and find where all the Card's for them both. The wierd thing is, I found Mirage's Card on one account but didn't find Adray. 3 accounts afterwards, I found Adray's card but forgot how to get Mirage's Lol!

before u fight crossel, stay at peternys inn.albel will wake u up,the dangerous way.u have tell him that u dont hate him.
if u dont recruit him then,u will have to fight him first 1-on-1 in crossels place later when u get the chance to return to elicoor,provided u didnt recruit pepita.

this is why i made 2 saves b4 fighting crossel.1 save with albel n pepita;n the other save with nel n roger.
by the way,how high is your level (average)?i wanna grind but i dont know the best place for that.grinding till lvl 255 will take a long time after all.

Actually, if you use 5x20% xp, triple xp battle bonus. I can lvl from 100 to 255 in about an hour.
I do most of my leveling in Sphere211. The 2 dragons in the arena also give a huge amount of xp AND cash. I usually level Maria there while gaining money since she can easily solo them both.

ok,so thats 5 ring of erudition,triple xp battle bonus,n some combat training skills.that makes sense.keeping the battle bonus gauge intact will be a bit problem though.

If possible, get as many boots of poweress from making or finding them and follow this:
1. Refine the boots till they are 30%
2. Synthesis them to your weapons to gain a lot of defence as well as offence
3. Repeat this to your main characters
You may get immunity to damage which is good. You may also want to use berries found in the Sphere (211 floors) I believe. For game play, you should stock up with stuns and stun them if you encounter trouble. Destroy the other person first, then Fayt.

Lil question. Theres only 7 slots for chars in the main menu for so3. Can you collect all chars in the game at once? Or is it limited to 7 chars?
If its limited then I'm fucked ^_^ I want peppita, mirage and sophia but I already have roger, adray and albel from earlier in the game. Dont suppose theres any way to "dismiss" them?

There is a limit of 7 and no more than that. You can only choose a maximum of 2 extra chacters out of the 4 (Adray, Roger, Albel and Nel). Have 2 accounts with the 2 different chacters each. Adray is needed in the game. You can't decide not to get him. There is no way to dismiss them so you have to make the account again. Sorry ^.^ but I had to do that too to get peppita and albel. If i'm wrong about the "dismiss" and/or adray permanent, I'd like to know how to get rid of Adray or dismiss.

Adray isnt permanent. I just got to disc 2 and all chars except Maria, Cliff and Fayt were removed. Nel and Sophia joined later.

Adray is not required. You just need to not go where you meet him at the moment it happens to bypass him. I did it in a playthough or two. But i don't remember cause i have not played this in like...2 years:(

@YumeriaYumi Well, you get Adray as you go into the story, how can you get all character slots filled before you see him(Since you'll need to get all characters to get him out)? I mean, I forget, can you get sophia before or after you see Adray? If you see sophia after, then she would be an optional character, but she is a required one. I am sure Adray is a permanant chacter.

Yea that could be how it is. Well either way it does not matter in the end. I only use Fayt Cliff and Nel or albel...or cliff out for my fav pepittaXD. But all the aside i love the game the way it is:)

Their are multiple ways in getting boots of poweress. One way is making them using the crafting ability in the workshops. The cost for it is around 4000 fol but I know you can make it. Another way of getting it is when you beat the game (I did it this way) but not reqruit albel. Go to where you found crowswell and you should see him. He just stands there and offers to fight fayt and fayt only. Once defeated you get boots of poweress (I only done this 8 times in a row and got bored). Good luck...
