I think the mod is called Lock On 1.1xx FPS Tweak v2.0G7.You will probably need need Modman to install it properly. I got all files from a website called lockonfiles. You have to register to download but it's free anyway and there are tons of other great mods for Lock On on that site...
I you need to select bombs first, and then drop them using spacebar. The ingame training tracks explain how. For flying ur own plane you need to select a 'player' pilot in the missions editor. Pilot needs to be a 'player' pilot, which can be configured in the pilot log. I got a lot of help from a website called Flankertraining. It has video tutorials for creating missions.

how can i drop bombs?? and how can i edit a mission so i can fly my OWN PLANE in the mission. i can only edit missions to watch others fly.
