lol get this here is a lil update on the nine yards. The CBE Group on behalf of Trinity Medical is taking me to small claims court and suing me for $6399.86 for the bills I refuse to pay for. as I stated before, I'm not going to pay full price for half ass service at a hospital. I will post a video regarding this in a short while.

We don't need Michael Moore to tell us that. I am really sorry that you had to go through such a painful experience. I can't imagine how angry I would be if my doctor treated me that way! My hope is that you will share your story and encourage people to vote for people who will represent the middle class. Regardless of the situation no one should be degraded and made to suffer and I feel sorry for your pain. In your video rant, you never once talked about YOUR RESPONSIBILITY in all of this. You chose to not buy insurance, eat a high fat diet, not pay your bills and when obesity, gallstones, diabetes and heart disease and whatever else you are at risk for catches up with you, you cry the blues.

The only advice I can give is to check with your state's Emergency Medicaid. It's not just for pregnant women. If you have a true urgent medical condition you might be able to get help. I pray you get relief soon.

I have had my gallbladder out thank God! I know the pain you are feeling. In fact, I did roll around on the floor because it hurt so bad. For a doctor to refuse to do your surgery because you didn't pay 125.00 to another doctor is malpractice... " first, do no harm" is the oath he took and he was not standing by that. If your gallbladder goes too long like this it could become seriously diseased and infected.

Nearly $200.00 is a bit steep for 15 minutes, but it is your responsibility to know how much the service you are going to get is going to cost you. Universal health care would mean that you'd likely not have pissed off the doctor because you wouldn't have complained about the cost.

Dude, morphine made you talk smack to the surgeon who could have saved you from this suffering. What is wrong with you? Your attitude might have gotten you in a bit too deep. Doctor's don't like patients who don't pay bills. If you smack talk a Canadian doctor and refuse to pay the bill, he'll likely watch you wallow in pain on the floor as well. Next time ask how much it is gonna cost up front, and if you think the fee is fair, proceed with kindness.

Everyone: I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out of Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. We must act now if we want change!

Ive been going through some of the storys coming out from sicko Im so sorry for you all .

Ive never had to pay a penny to a doctor never had insurance but Im british .

I think its better to pay for healthcare through taxation like you pay for the police and it should be free for all , apart for things like some cosmetic surgery which is something you might do for vanity not medical need .

I cant do much to help you and the other good people of america but I hope you system changes

TheMidnightFox, some hospitals have charity but they cannot tell you about it and will not offer it to you UNLESS you ask. I worked at a hospital billing office/collection agency and that is what they told us. We were not allowed to offer it. I also had gallbladder surgery so I know what you went through!

They always say just "get a job with insurance". A lot of jobs don't offer insurance, or they won't give you enough hours to qualify for it. And now you would come up as pre-existing condition and you would have serious problems having anything done. Doctors should get paid, but $30,000 for gall bladder removal it CRAZY!
