ƃ7ƃpsdɟd4ɔz=ʌ¿ɥɔʇɐʍ/ɯoɔ˙ǝqnʇnoʎ˙ʍʍʍ//:dʇʇɥ Fantastic video and song, I think this video is quite similar "Seaweed under the sofa"? What do you think?
If you want to listen to the studio version of The Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight" listen to Melon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, and if you want to hear a musician that lip sync go to a Britney Spears concert. A real musician sounds more raw live, than they do in studio because the preform live and don't lip sync to a CD.
what a neat song but totally fucked up by billy corgans unkempt voice..why not let the girls sing this one billy and when it calls for a vocal fart then you go !
@cgnetwork1 there are few major cities surrounded bysmall towns, wen a concert comes to frankfurt they swam in from large parts of gemany.besides the trains are still safe.
billy corgan can't sing. that's what makes his performance so damn amazing. people who say otherwise didn't listen to much smashing pumpkins or grunge in general i assume.
melon collie and the infinite sadness was the 1st album i ever owned(actually 2 cd's), i just got home from school one day and my dad walked in my room and threw it on my bed and walked out.....didn't say a word...i was like 10 years old
Is the singer sick or something? Because his tone is entirely too bright (what musically uneducated people call "Nasal") and not nearly dark enough. 0.o But the instrumentalists are amazing though...! ^^
I never put heart and soul into WORK. And if he can't deliver that same soul into a song because its work for him, he needs to leave that song alone until he can feel it again. Or else he is simply cheating his audience out of a real performance.
why gets dis version 5 stars? i love pumpkins, but I think this version of tonight is a bit - loveless...corgan is also singing very bad at this show..it sounds like he is sick..
@EmitFlestiKY Yes it was gone when Green Day came during the 1994 and simply MTV fucked up music for everyone with its heavy emphasis on rap and hip-hop!
I can't tell if you're talking about the bassist who is also singing, or the lack of synchronization. If you notice, even the drums are off, which you CANNOT do in a live performance, so its video synchronization, which he even states in his description. As for the bassist singing, in the studio version, he layered his own voice in that part, which he did a lot for Mellon Collie.
i havent been into these guys i just liked the song. and imjust asking im more into whats in my profile. its that simple if you really want ed to know
so i just want a simple fucking answer if thats not hard
Sorry these guys are being idiots to you. Billy Corgan is an AMAZING singer/guitarist/songwriter, so fans get a little defensive around people who haven't heard of him. He began shaving his head for a vampirish look around 1998. The robe is the "Zeitgeist" uniform, which basically assembles all the negative symbols of the time into one. You should really look deeper into the Smashing Pumpkins, if these idiots haven't already scared you away.
I saw them a couple weeks before this show, at Pinkpop 2007! I had been waiting so long to see them, but it was worth the wait! Opening song "Today" damn that gave me goosebumps! This song is one of their best!
A Legend they are ... They started somethin that is carved on our soul forever. As we grew up with one of the best band on earth to date. Still there today playing those songs for us when so many other bands abandoned their fans... Pumpkins are here today, faithful and still rockin our worlds ! P.S - Ginger ! I'm still waitin for your phone number dammit ! :)
I think like you. Shitty music.Ok, AGREE. But you forgot some notable exceptions as: -The Police. -The Smiths. -Queen ( it was them age ..) -Aerosmith -David Bowie -Boy George...( hahaha just kidding). -INXS ( eye with this !) -Michael Jackson ( whatever...he/she black/white freak rocks !) -Kool and the gang -U2 (. .)! So. You must open for a while your mind and dont be an AZZ. Cheers ppl.
Michael Jackson likes to touch little kids and queen was pretty much 70s dude. The fact is the most popular music back then was a bunch of god awful hair bands, the only one having any talent at all probably being guns n roses.
gnr is one of the most overrate bands of all time. slash is only true musician. 80s was not a good time for quality music. it was the time that pop music came to center stage.

penhappy101? happy your not from generation X. when were you born, the disco generation? yeah thats super cool man. if you were, you grew up with the worst time period for musical talent in the last one hundred years. stop talkin shit, pussy.
dude, i don't think Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd,Rush and Van Halen make up the worst period for music in the last 100 hundred years. why dont you brush up on the classics, and understand why rock sounds the way it does. you wanna disrespect and undermine the pioneers of modern rock, do it somewhere else.
Dude, the 80's sucked. Yes there were some good bands, but compared to the 70's and 90's, not much of comparison there. Pioneers of modern rock were not from the 80's they were from the 60's and 70's. Plus pink floyd started out in the mid 60's, Van halen started in the 70's. Sabbath started late 60's. Iron Maiden (mid 70's). SO basically you don't know what your talking about. maybe you need to brush up a bit dumb ass
maybe i was talking about the 70's you dumbass. why on earth would i list 70's bands to defend the 80's?! maybe you have dyslexia and can't read properly. but you should really get your head examined before you talk to someone like me about rock in any way. disco is pretty much a 70's thing and everyone knows that, so just wtf are you trying to say? maybe you should just give up and listen to soulja boy. idiots like you shouldn't be on youtube.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
they did suck at the vmas they were 18 and singing at one of the biggest music awards and he sang bad on top of that they wouldnt let him sing the curses or they would censor im so he strained his voice so it didnt sound like the words. i dont really care if everyone hates me for thinking their better so saying fu ck you an crap doesnt do anything for yourself
