Wow i think what you do is amazing and lots of people do not have the patience to put the effort with rats. I also have helped a rescued rat and hes named ralf :D and hes such an amazing rat he likes lots of hugs and kisses and just like to be loved. sadly hes on his own becuase he firend passed away of old age i dont know to get him a new firend or not. i know lone rats tend to get stressed easily but ralf seems to be doing perfect on his own
i just got 2 fancy rats but the cage the people sold me was to big for the rats so they kept getting out. i kinda stressed them out to much and they r scared of me. but i got them a new cage the next day with there food toys and even a hamick. one of my rats doesnt bite just nibbles in a nice way b ut my other one bited. not hard enough that i bleed alot but enough to peel a lil of my skin. wat can i do to make him more comfortable with me?

Thank you for this video. I just rescued a 3-5 month old dumbo girl tonight, named Mercy and she is, sadly, very aggressive, due to abuse from her former owner. I am determined to rehabilitate her and adopt her out to a caring, forever home.
That's great! It sounds like you have experience with abused rats. Please consider joining JoinRats Yahoo group. This is a very small group focused on trust training pet rats.
