i work at the Hilton on Pensacola Beach where this video was shot and the rumor is that the umbrella actually killed this lady. Honestly, they said it impaled her in the head and then closed in on her

first, the video was taken from emerald isle, which, as you know, is a few doors down from the hilton.

second, i was one of the guys in the video pointing at the umbrella, then running up to help her after it hit her (i was dark shorts carrying a white canopy cover). she was NOT killed. she was definitely stunned, but she was able to walk back to the lobby with a little help from her friends.

regardless, the video guy described it the best...that umbrella CLOBBERED her.

We were on the other side of the beach in a boat during this storm...it was bad! Lightning ended up striking 4 people..3 on land and 1 in a boat. The wind and rain was aweful!
