  • Check out the frontline website for the video (Ten Trillion and Counting & Inside the Meltdown) it is a good look at how we got into this hole.

  • This will cost tax payers much more money in the long run. It also puts more people on the unemployment lines. It really boils down to the fact that much of America is out of work, and if you produce a product, most arent in the possition to purchase at this time. Its also evident that the people that controll these companies arent willing to live like the rest of the nation, or the world for that matter. You cant blame people for buying foriegn products, or the workers, or the communities,

  • iamavet, just look up Fiat on wikepedia, you'll see. The reason I know is b/c the moment I saw you wrote Fiat on your comment I realise that has to be the Fiat that made the G50 fighter, Its on a WWII flights sim game I have 'IL2 1946' flight sim game.

  • Fiat owns 20%? What the hell is a Fiat?

Ford is now in competition with US tax payers - what the hell is that? So all Chrysler car advertising is pay for by tax payers?

Obama is doing a good job of screwing the UAW.

  • Fiat is a WW II aircraft designer and car designer, they made WWII fighters for Italy, the Fiat CR.32, Fiat G.50, Fiat G.55 , b/c there an italian aircraft and car designer. Fait stands for : 'Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino' English: 'Automobile Factory of Turin'.

  • @vox2007 Mitsubishi made the A6Ms and Navy 12 Carrier Fighters that bombed Pearl Harbor.

  • Ford owns all.

  • soo bush lied about wmd's. Obama lied when he said the bailouts would work, lets hear all of you bleeding heart liberals cry about your Savior lying to you about this.

  • Exactly. The economy will turn around when it turns around. I know I am not going to buy a new GM or Chrysler product.

  • A with such an overstock. it is a great time to buy, you can get a hell of deal if you have some cash on hand.

  • GM... you are next.

  • Nooooooooo! Why couldn't it have been ford?!

    *Cries*

  • hmm who will fall next ford or gm?

  • GM will go into bankruptcy

  • Ford is in a far better situation. It has taken no bailout money as yet.

  • Ford would not. They had sensible plans. GM, I do not know.

  • Def GM. I hope people start buying Ford cars and trucks

  • I won't buy Ford cars and trucks because of their support for gay marriage. I don't think that companies should take these kinds of political stands - like Levis Jeans for example - supporting gun control. So Ford's out for me at least, and it looks like GM and Chrysler are finished.

Maybe I'll wait for Red China motors to start selling their $2,000 car...

  • It was only a matter of time, is GM next?

  • The NWO will own the people in short time as well. This is the change Obama was talking about. I hope you Obama voters love this thief in the night.

  • lol not a very realistic look at the future

  • Don't worry. The government will take over all industries before 2012 and the USA name will be changed to the

    USS of A!

    Fuck you Washington!

  • I agree fuck Washington, what we are seeing is the government is taking advantage of hard times to expand control

and what do you get when government controls the economy? Socialism, and what results out of socialism? More poverty for all.

way to go commies, hope you're happy now we all get to equally suffer and as you love to say "sacrifice"

  • Yes, & where does a government, 10's of trillions of dollars in debt, get the money to bailout all these banks, & other companies in the 1st place? How can borrowing money and throwing it at failing banks, when your real wealth generation sources, namely industry, are left with the crumbs, how can that 'stimulate' anything!? The economy needs workers, producing manufactured goods, for export. A quick check reveals: higher unemployment, decreased manufacturing, & decreased exports!

  • It's hilarious to listen to the MSM & its economy pundits. They can turn a massive bankruptcy into a good thing. Or huge unemployment #'s into, yes, well 'unemployment is growing more slowly', & devastating cut backs into, 'decreased inventories could mean green shoots'. The media machine is in full effect, set to 'high spin'.

Sure we're setting new records for lows in GDP & the highest levels of long term unemployment in decades, but consumers bought more made in China products last month...
