It makes me cry to watch this and think of my beloved white Turkish Angora, Marcia, that I had for 20 years. You have my greatest sympathies for losing Precious. Marcia was like a soul mate to me. After she died, I cried for days. My heart was completely broken. Years later a psychic randomly gave me a flower and told me it was from a spirit cat that she saw with me. I believe that love lives on. I now have a Turkish Van after 20 years. It's OK to love again. There are many lonely cats to save.

What a beautiful cat and a wonderful tribute. I know that Precious passed over 3 years ago, but I'm sure you still miss him terribly. We lost our cat 3 weeks ago and the pain is still with us. I hope that as time goes by you will hurt less and remember the great times you shared together.

I got Precious from a breeder but the breeder did not take any responsebility and luckily stopped breeding, I know some good Turkish Angora breeders overhere (that also test their cats on HCM) but I live in The Netherlands..

I live in Canada and after an intense week of searching the internet and speaking to a few remaining breeders in Canada and U.S. (Turkish Angoras are apparently not a familiar breed and the breeders are declining in number because of this and the economy) I was fortunate to find the most gorgeous odd-eyed white female Turkish Angora kitten - with the classic look like Precious) - he lives only 2-1/2 hrs. from me, and this breeder is very well-respected by his peers.
Wow, what a beautiful cat. I'm so sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine losing my precious cat, Ariel. But at the same time, I feel blessed. I've had my car for 15 years and other than asthma, she's surprisingly healthy. Precious is at peace and I'm sure he died knowing he was a lucky cat to have such a loving owner like yourself. i know how you fell,both our cats,nicholas,and kitty kitty ran away,kitty kitty is probally still alive,but nicholas was a sick cat all of his life,hes probally dead,and he was a sweet boy too.
I had a turkish angora that looked just like Precious. his name was Toby, but he died shortly after his first birthday :( i was on vacation and he stayed with my friend. two dogs got to him
