In my mind, this is what happened after Zaara hugged Veer in the rain. They left and were happily ever after, and Zaara's parents eventually learned to be OK with it (not that they really matter). I don't care that they finally saw each other at the end of the movie. All those years lost = sad ending to me. I refuse to believe that. My version is much better. Lol.
