Very tame for a bigger bird, I expected a little rough play for priority reasons, but I guess being part of basically the same family of a huge range of birds, the bigger bird is quite gentle around the smaller bird. Nice to see :)

Our older male Cockatiel was alone all the time when his wife died (even though hes with his two sons and maaany budgies xD) but one of our male budgies didn't give up on him and after all they became really good friends. Sadly one of our females who liked his friend was always after him, trying to pick him away and we had to put him in another cage but we put his friend along with him till he died but at age of 21 so he had a longer life. He was actually older than me at that time xD

My birds lose feathers randomly through the year & only seriously molt about 2x a year. They have never lost many feathers in one place at the same time. Yours may be stressed or need better nutrition. I increase their protien & calcium during molting i.e. sweet potatoes & dark green leafy veggies. Molting is stressful for birds so I usually try to leave them alone as much as possible. My friendly male loves to have his neck & head rubbed when his new feathers grow in. :0
