  • BRAVO... for making this video!!!

  • The disgusting comments below (and really on any Youtube video that discusses women or gendered violence) is the exact reason why such a video is necessary.

Actually, I think "necessary" is understating it.

  • A racist complaining about other people being racist.

At some point, "the black community" will need to swallow its pride and start shaking hands with the KKK and various other white racist organizations.

These are the people who share your racial separatist vision and work for a similar goal, not the "anti-racists", who refuse to even acknowledge the concept of race.

  • @SaintsWillMarch

Obviously you need to understand what racism, and race, actually are. Get an education.

  • boohoo violence against women. Boohoo.

    How about violence period?

  • @drealgrin Rape is a form of violence. BW also suffer from high rates of domestic violence as well.

  • @sclay12345 point?

  • @drealgrin Um you said boo hoo. what about violence. Rape IS violence. The point is beyond obv.

  • @drealgrin

I'm glad to know you support violence against women.

    Psycho.

  • @kristina198 no, it's just that it's bullshit and sexist to believe that women need special protection from violence. Don't you see that women are being treated as weak defenseless creatures who are incapable of anything without the world giving them special help?

ALL violence is wrong, not just "violence against women"

  • @drealgrin

when violence is gendered, and when its institutionalized and systematic against women, then yes, women are in need of special protection against violence. when a recent news article came out that 18 women have been raped at one of the Occupy protests, that means that YES, women need special protection against violence. because its not MEN that are in danger just by *daring* to be out on the street by themselves and being attacked, then yes, its needed. (continued...)

  • @drealgrin

    @drealgrin

understanding women and men, blacks and whites, etc. as "free and equal" individuals in relation to each other is erroneous. society does not work like this.

I'm not going to argue any further with somebody who is clearly uneducated, has no sociological understanding of the world, and probably is a male (and thus is able to walk through the world with male privilege). I suggest you educate yourself.

  • @kristina198 ROFL, As if violence against women is worse than violence against men, nope, sorry. No, you don't need special protection, Because people who use violence aren't thinking rationally, thus there's nothing to protect you from. What we need is to change society in general, not attempt to raise females as some sort of weak defenseless creatures above the law for the rest of us. You think rape is bad? At least your gender gets to keep all of its genitalia at birth.

  • @drealgrin

wow, are you seriously saying that circumcision (which is NOT gendered violence, but rather a procedure for men's health) is worse than rape?

that makes you a sick person.

btw, yup, men are also victims of violence... but its not gendered violence, its male-on-male violence. violence against women, on the other hand, is justified/denied/stonewalled/etc. google "Rape culture 101"

You need to take a sociology class, because your lack of knowledge about how society works is astounding.

  • @kristina198 Done for men's health? HAHAHA, NO it's not. It's done because "women prefer it". It's done because Daddy doesn't want to confront the fact that he himself is misisng part of his penis so he amputates what he lost off his son as well.

See, You exhibit the sexist and ethnocentric bullshit i'm talking about. Men who aren't circumcised are not "unhealthy".

Men are brainwashed into believing their own bodies are unhealthy, and you women perpetuate it.

  • @drealgrin

Wow, I never once said that circumcision is a better option than not circumcising. However, it *does* keep the penis clean. And it is definitely not comparable, nor worse than rape. You're a sick human being for even suggesting that.

I'm done. Go educate yourself. You have a lot to learn

  • @kristina198 wow, you're incredibly sexist. What if i were to tell you that circumcision for females kept women clean? Would that make it ok to cut off parts of females? After all, you dirty women get 3X as many as UTIs as men do.

  • @drealgrin

thanks for proving your misogyny (as well as lack of facts and education, but that's not news)

  • @kristina198 HAHA, you've only proven the same of yourself to be a misandrist.

  • @drealgrin

    education please.

    factcheckme . wordpress . com/2009/08/30/no-such-thing-as-misandry/

  • @kristina198 riiight, more feminist filth bullshit. Thanks for showing your true colors feminazi.

  • @kristina198 shame too, you seem like you're otherwise a smart gal. Too bad you're not allowing yourself to get the real picture here.

  • @kristina198 Oh, so male on male violence is ok? What about Female on Male violence? It happens, but it's laughed at. FOR EXAMPLE, Single Mothers who choose to cut off their son's foreskins. FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN "I think it looks better." THAT is sexist violence.

  • @kristina198 MY point is ONLY that this isn't a contest between the genders on who inflicts the worst damag eon whom. MY POINT IS WE NEED TO STOP VIOLENCE ALL TOGETHER, Women are NOT special victims. Neither are Men. You are not a superior class of people who deserve special attention.

  • THIS IS MY FAV VID EVA

  • Wherever blacks go, trouble goes with them.

  • very..deep

  • Right because just black females are raped. Oh please.

  • @xxSilverBlood13xx what are you saying? Are you saying that by looking at rape in the African American community it somehow de-emphasizes rape? Because if so, you're wrong. Rape is a problem everywhere, but in some communities it isn't talked about. It's important that everyone know that this is a crime that can happen to ALL women including black women. This is just saying that there just hasn't been much research done about Black women and rape.

  • @xxSilverBlood13xx

Nobody said that, you psycho. However, rape against black women is talked about the LEAST. Which is why this video is a breakthrough.

  • Thank you so much for this documentary Aishah!! I still remember the night you came to show this, at Michigan State Universiry! I really appreciate you and this documentary!

    THANK YOU,

    ~Kyra C.
