Its funny because if anybody knows anything about the NFL you would know for a fact that the 2008 Lions are not the worst team ever. They weren't even the worst team THAT YEAR KC who went 2-14 and the Rams who went 2-14 were much worse than the Lions just look at Point differental and offensive and defensive rankings. Matt Millen was the single worst decision the Lions organization ever made. His meglamaniac attitude was so poisonous throughout the organization. Traded them for second and third stringers for smaller players so he could have a fast defense. Getting rid almost all our franchise players. Millen is a huge blame, but Millens biggest mistake was hiring Marinelli for the coach job. You cant blame Millen for all the draft bust. Who knew they woulda turned out like that. Rogers was amazing in college oh well....

Rod replaced Dick with his son in law traded everyone away for smaller players cause he wanted a fast defense. Rod replaced everyone on the roster with nobodies and did horribe draft picks besides calvin johnson. Rod messed the team up more than Millen did. Millen let Rod draft everyone he wanted.Blame Marinelli more than Millen

Not that I'm standing up for Rod Marinelli, or the Lions, but it wasn't his fault. If Matt Millen had been fired instead of the Lions releasing top draft picks the team would have had a better foundation. His players just straight up quit on the coaching staff. We would never see an elite franchise like the Colts, Giants, or Steelers go through something like this. This team constantly snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory on several occasions during the last few years.

Alot was Marinellis fault. When Jauron was D-Cordinator our Defense was pretty solid. Millen got rid of him which was a mistake. Rod changed our defense with his shitty son in law replaced all our good players with Tampa Bay benchwarmers. Our team was pretty solid Marinelli just tore it down again. So here we go starting all over again!!
