As far as connection to the song, I don't feel it in Kris's version. He sang the song for the sake of singing it. Adam's version has so much emotions in it. As a listener, I feel his emotions and I get affected by it. Kris is a good vocalist but Adam is an artist! This is my opinion.

I think Kris's voice is great and he sings this song really well. Adam also has a great voice but there were times on AI when he went totally off key to the point that I couldn't recognize the song he was singing. He was screaming in off key so much. But like I said he has a great voice-- sometimes it's what you do with that voice.

Alright let me give my two cents on the whole adam vs. kris thing. To me personally, i like kris's version better. The tone and the depth of his voice really makes it whole. Yes, adam's voice is unique and there really isnt much like him these days, but that doesnt mean his version is better than kris's. You can only take uniqueness so far. The general population tends to fall to what is more comfortable. We just arent ready for a voice like adam's yet.

the song and the voice don't really impress me... adam and kris were both great guys. i can't wait for adam's album to come out, i know it will be amazing :)

Alright let me give my two cents on the whole adam vs. kris thing. To me personally, i like kris's version better. The tone and the depth of his voice really makes it whole. Yes, adam's voice is unique and there really isnt much like him these days, but that doesnt mean his version is better than kris's. You can only take uniqueness so far. The general population tends to fall to what is more comfortable. We just arent ready for a voice like adam's yet.

Im sorry but Adam Lambert is just too out theire with his screaming and all that. Then again you may never know. Lady Gaga is making a big hit in the music industry and she is unique.

no comparison....Kris is not the singer that Adam is. His range is not as wide, his delivery is simple and he has to try twice as hard to reach notes to be half as good as Adam is. Sorry, but Adam is a much, much better singer.....if that's what American Idol is about...you know, singing.

Kris' version is to "Clean", Adam's version on the other hand is "Unique" First, Elvis prestley, then Micheal Jackson, Now Adam Lambert. Seriously A singer like Adam Comes once every Hundred years. And to many people sing like Kris. Anyone who Is man enough to listen to both of the versions, you will see that Adam's Is unique, and better. tho i don't really respond to this type of song - when i compare the versions, the Kris Allen version has more feeling in it for me - i like his voice better for the song - it does not over-sing the song. I write poetry like everyone else - i am guilty of rhyming a million words with "pain" - so i'm not one to talk; still - i hope Kris Allen is allowed to record better songs. Thank you for post.
