i really like kristin. she's a wonderful, very seasoned actrice. she does all these little gestures or she says her lines in such a powerful way, it's like she puts her own stamp on all of her work. if i were a screenwriter, she is one of a few actrices i would die to work with.

Colin Firth does most of his acting with his eyes. His face is just naturally like that, lawl. I completely love the way he looks at his film ladies, Bridget in particular. Plus, in all the deleted scenes, Daniel was even more scummy, and Mark was totally epic. I'm sorry, but much as I love this film to bits, this scene always makes me angry: so angry that when I was a bit drunk a while back I kicked in a locked door at home. Charles has a beautiful, witty, intelligent woman, who knows him inside out say she's been in love with him for absolutely yonks and the damned cad can't bring himself to reciprocate? Disgraceful! It'd have saved him a lot of trouble if he had just thrown himself into her arms!
