I think the solo, especially that quintuplet lick at the end, is going to be the determining factor in the judging. I probably spent as much time trying to get that lick down as I did on the whole rest of the song. There are some really good entries, and I don't envy Jeff having to pick a winner from them.

Still no winner? Well, I really would feel screwed right know. I mean, common, why are you guys defending Jeff? There are 60 vids (about 4 minutes) on --> 4 hours total, this is just no damn excuse, besides you can easily sort the worst by only watching the first riff. I think he just doesn't give a damn about doing it or not.

LiamENGL is a great guitarist in my opinion but I think he isn't better than the other. He's talentous but I watched his cover. He nailed that song but his "strength" is the quality. His video quality is higher than the other videos. Most of the partecipants sucks anyway : )

@Luxpalloris For the results of the vocal contest by MetalSucks (Create Your Own Conspiracy) it took about a week for them to decide. Then again there were three people judging - Warrel, Vince and Axl (MetalSucks editors).

i think its weak how most of the videos are recorded on a studio and then filmed while "pretending" to play the song all the way through... WEAK! it should just be filmed playing the song along with the cd, all the way through , one take.

Got my version up now as well. Waiting for approval. I didn't record it as a video though... Just too lazy to do this in addition. Anyway, I think bands should deliver tracks without guitars more often! It's a lot of fun playing along or "producing" one's own version.
