Your eyes are blue when you zoom out because your wall is white/blue and the camera auto adjusts the colour making the blue stand out in the picture.

The blue is most likely because when you zoom out it catches the natural light from the window. If you were to turn on more "fake" light, like your lamps in the background, it may help.

I have similar colourings to you and I have never really considered using yellow, just because it is soo bright, but after watching how much your beautiful blue eyes 'pop' by using this colour I'm definitely picking a yellow up!!

I know you asked Elle but I have freckles too hahah! What I do to keep them from looking odd and mucky is I put on a nice shear layer of foundation and build on where I need the full coverage to even everything out, the summer makes it a little easier because they get so much more pronounced that the normal coverage makes them look normal haha
