Yeah, there are tons of kids who need homes who aren't babies. The older ones are the ones who have the hardest times finding families. In China "adoptable" kids go all the way up to 12, I think, but most are 1-3 ish.
The little girl in this video, MaryCatherine, was adopted at 15 months old.
Daniel was adopted about a year and 3 months ago, and he's 4 now, but he's amazingly well adjusted... it's like he's lived with us his whole life.
Heheh... this video was a week ago!! They're both 3 years old. On the first day, he cried from the adoption office all the way to the hotel room. But soon he quieted down, and he began playing, and doing all the things in this video. :D We're pretty sure he knew who we are because of the photo album we had sent him!!

Poor Daniel looked so scared - even when MaryCatherine is screaming on the bed - he looks like he thought something was wrong.
The bathroom scene is funny! He totally loved the water! And what a little imp! Pouring water over his sister's head!
