This is not documentary.It's directed. The filmmakers heard about these guys eagles and how they entertained themselves withem but the filmmakers thought about it and considered they wanted something even more spectacular to film than the hares and goats these people usually release for their eagles to kill.So the filmmakers bought some little more spectacular animals to be hunted down in front of the camera.If the eagles would get hurt the owners were promised they would be greatly compensated.

@qqqquito yes, most are taken out of the nest, and then after 10 years released again to the wild.the owner leaves the bird on top of mt. with a dead lamb, as of a way to say thank you for all the years togeather. it is really a beautiful respect they have for there eagles. there is a link to the right that i just watched. guy talks about the tradition of this. it will tell you all you need to know.
