The Arctic Monkeys debut was the fastest selling in British history I believe, they were one of the first bands to get famous due to social networking sites like Myspace etc. They are HUGE in Britian, I believe this because they perfectly reflect our culture through their songs. That's respectable and gives their music uniquness in today's music industry. It's hard to find such devotion to music with all the rap hip hop nd pop going through the general population today.
