I can't chose this renegade option with my new playthrough. Although my morality bar is above 90% with renegade and paragon. In my latest game it was well belov this 70% maybe. Must be a bug a guess...

That option only works in an imported file where you save the council. Then you have to talk to the council in ME2 to reinstate your Spectre status. And you still have to have a high renegade score to use it.

Okay, if you made Anderson the councilor from the first game, as soon as the very first mission is over, and after you and Joker finally re-unite and get on board the Normandy, the Citadel mission that requires you to speak to Anderson in the Presidium WILL be available right from the start. Having said that, this mission comes WAY before Thane's loyalty mission (hence the "Im a spectre, talk" option in this scene only being available ONCE you speak to Anderson and get re-instated to a Spectre)

Once you're reinstated as a Spectre, this scene should appear smoothly :) Personally though, I enjoyed punching the living daylight out of him, using renegade interrupts, but that's just me..

@Markis2bi4 Not too high of a renegade, as you can only choose the spectre route in this scene when you first go to talk to Anderson in the presidium, and re-instate your spectre status. keep in in mind that you've to have chosen Anderson to be the councilor(not sure of the proper title) instead of Udina. Once you have a chat with the fella, he'll give you back your spectre status..

Overall I usually go with a FemShep just to keep the look of my armor thin. Too much muscle makes the armor look bulky. That and hearing a badass female attitude isn't always a bad thing.

Fem Shep VOs are really good in these situations, She handles the "politics" of Mass Effect really well, Male Shep handles the Nitty-Gritty better in my opinion.

Ex: Getting Karl Reegar to stand down on Haestrom. I hate how Fem Shep does it, but I really like how Male Shep handles it, from the vocal perspective of course.

Contrarily, look at just about any scene with more emphasis on talking and well Fem Shep is superior.
