  • the king in this video about how big is he/she now? im sure it's got to be what in the 12 to 13ft range if not bigger?

  • aww this cobra really doesnt want back to its enclosure he wants to explore and look at himself dont he:-)

  • Do you have any Gaboons? I hear they are very docile and they won't bite unless seriously provoked.

  • @em91198able Yes, I have lots. You've been lied to....hahahhahah

  • @viperkeeper I have an Eastern female garter snake named Nagini (from harry potter) and I was thinking of mating it with a male Canadian garter snake. Is that possible?

  • @em91198able Yes, but why would you want to make an intergrade?

  • @viperkeeper Well, I'm not an expert with snakes but I know a fair amount about them (I'm only 13 by the way) and I just want to see what the babies look like. Maybe I shouldn't because, well, I'm not an experienced breeder and I don't want Nagini to get hurt or anything.

  • This guys way to happy with snakes

  • 9:56 "he is such a happy little guy" I lol'd xD

  • @arwen114 Never apply mite killer directly to snakes, unless you want dead Mites & Snakes.

  • he loves that camera beautiful creature

  • About your autofocus: whatever takes up the most area in your shot is what the sensors lock onto. So, for instance, if the snake (or whatever) is 35% of the composition and your background is 65%, then the autofocus will target the larger percentage. Lighting is also a factor. If your background is brighter than the target, that may make a difference in some models at close-range shooting. Cool videos, BTW.

  • @jddrock Thanks :-)

  • the young king cobra was kind a cute

  • i watch ur video with every second of suspense. omg! sigh!

  • The young King Cobra is Adorable! The Death Adder is funny=) Don't touch my food!

  • that death adder is crazy lookin

  • casual king cobra on the table lmfao what a cutie i can't wait to get my license so i can start my hot keeping

  • what is your deadlist snake you have

  • @mandivideo Deadly is the wrong term to use, they are all deadly. The most toxic are: Common Brown, Taipan, Sawscales, Russells Viper, Kraits

  • @viperkeeper Taipan is the deadliest.

  • I love how you talk to them! I got impressed by the king cobra, and you talk to it like to a kid.

It makes the video very funny. ^_^

  • that king cobra was the cutest thing u can tell that snake loves u lol good man good man i bet u have a good relationship with all your snakes:D

  • Im not sure if I am saying this right but do you have a mang shing viper I think thats right its a type of mountain viper from china I believe just asking because thats my favorite type of snake

  • @SkylerC4 Yes, look through my old videos, a few years ago... 2006

  • King cobras are the most intelligent snakes.

  • ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ARE CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT MAKE MY CHILDERN LEARN

  • What would happen if you were to cross breed a Spitting Cobra with a King Cobra?

  • @TheMegaGoodLife Nothing...the King would eat it.

  • @Terry2982 It's done all the time.

  • 4:05 s/he seems to be like "MOVE AGAIN, PLIERS. I DARE YOU."

  • OMG BEST VIDEO ON YOUTUBE

  • A friend of mine claims he encountered a wild King Cobra somewhere in Southern California. Supposably "this area" is notorious for wild kings. I didn't think this is possible and I insist he most likely misidentified it. Wild Ophiophagus hannah couldn't survive in this environment could they?

  • @MOVEZIG BULLSHIT! The environment is all wrong for Kings, they can't live survive there.

  • @viperkeeper Yeah that's what I thought when I first heard this story. In addition to that, he claims he stepped on one. If someone were to step on a king, I seriously doubt they would live to tell about it.

  • @MOVEZIG You are correct on that....

  • ARE SNAKE'S DANGEROUS LIKE PLAINS?????

  • hahahaha lovely puppy dog for a lovely deadly snake, not that aggresive as i understand, but deadly

  • VERY beautiful snake, I love these snakes, with the respect to watch them at a distance.

  • This is cool!

  • The snake's eyes say : Im happy . :)

  • Crappy day til I heard pogo-stick with venom. Thank you for making my day and for posting your vids. They are beautiful animals. Keep up the great work!

  • lmao @ "I hide here --->" HAHAHA!!

  • What ever happened to darth vader?

  • @misterkjohn78 He died from a paracite called Pestomids, for which there is no treatment.

  • @viperkeeper He was my favorite poor darth vador thats why i feed them frozen dead 1's now Imsorry 4 the loss

  • my snake do the same given she rises not. I Opens terrarium she wriggle out late sligrar to me then winds up on my leg since camp she on my lap o rests there

  • I m speechless!!!!!!!

  • how many times have you been bitten?

  • Such a sweet little guy!!!

  • This is my absolute favorite video you have.

  • If you held still and didn't make any sudden movement this snake would slide right over you, not that you should ever try. ;)

  • i always thought that venomous snakes had slitted puples, but this one had round ones.

  • @zachryan10 Viperids have vertical pupils (except for Death Adders, which are elapids) Elapids have round pupils.

  • I second the "You are officially one of my heroes" thing...

    Keep up the great work....

  • your good at what you do :) keep up the cool vids

  • So you never get scared? I mean after a close encounter do you ever think about not keeping venomous snakes? I wish you'd introduce us to a friend whom keeps monitor lizards, I like your snakes, but I have a heart for varanidea.

  • That little king is so cute. I love king cobras.

  • I hate snakes i am scared to death of them but watching ur videos is actually making me kinda like them... :-) keep up the good work and thank u for sharing.

  • i like how you have a tag were they hide i guess its helpful....cool vid keep em up

  • Nice snake

  • Man, your cobra's a trip.

  • Hmm that king cobra is very cute I love cobra's.

So far there's only 2 individuals I know who love snakes and never mis-treat them that's you and the late Steve irwin.

Cool vid I hope you do more vids with this cobra in them he/she is so adorable I could just kiss it.

Respect anyways and best of luck not getting bit again.

  • @pornpan96isGay cutegayjason is another snake keeper on here that really loves his snakes and other animals. That cute little cobra is going to be very demanding of the camera's attention. ;-)

  • Wow, you got a king cobra?

How are you gonna handle that snake when he gets 7 feet tall?

  • @Vinnygotnoodles No probem...been there, done that

  • @viperkeeper judging by the number of snakes you're keeping, I do believe you

  • @viperkeeper haha

  • You are officially one of my heroes. That snake reminds me of a cat in it's overall demeanor. The way you interact with the snakes is really amazing. You treat them with kindness and respect and I think they can sense that. That's why I believe this cobra isn't in attack mode. One of these days (after some good training), I would like to work with these type of snakes. My favorite are Elapids, but I would be happy to work with any. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • AWESOME, dude! Nice work!

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • Hey I have a question. Is it true that snakes can only see in infrared light (IOW, thermal vision, where they can sense the body heat given off from other living things)? Just wondering...

  • Only pit vipers have thermal imaging as well as some pythons.

  • So what sort of vision would other types of snakes have, such as the cobra in this video?

  • Very good stereoscopic vision for sure

  • Have seen a few of your vids and I must say that you have a great way with your snakes. Good job

  • viperkeeper do you keep any nonvenomous

  • I had no clue there were non-venomous snakes, thanks for clueing me in....

  • its weird that even though the snake is just on my LCD my body is still in high alert mode, I guess my instincts are responding to the image of the snake.. any thoughts?

  • he is a cute snake in the face!

  • do you keep lizards and it would be coolif you got a gila monster!!!

  • its like a little venomous dog lol do u still have him?

  • Of all the videos that I've seen of yours, this is one of the more fascinating...along with the Tipan. Thanks for sharing these and please keep them coming.

  • Thanks!

  • jeuss i was shiting my pant , during just watching that demon creature .. ach blee

  • Viperkeeper- out of all your vids- this is my most beloved recorded!!! I watch it alot with a particular metal cello band, (hint) often in the background & I've realized how intelligent the King really is ~~~... Thanks from the <3 ... really. Such a beautiful creature!

  • Why cobras are called king?

  • They are the largest

  • snakes scare me =/

  • Those snakes are BEAUTIFUL!

  • hey viperkeeper, question for ya. is this your career? like did you go to school for it, b/c it looks like your in a lab,

If so what you go to school for, b/c I want to do what you do, b/c i have a passion for snakes as well, I know it would fall under biology, and chemistry and other stuff but ya...

    would really appreciate some feedback:)

  • This is one of my favorites on your channel i love that Cobra looks awesome nice one. :)

  • I absolutely adore this video- wonderful data displaying intelligence of snakes, their sensitivity. Al you're a naturalist ambassador to beautiful reptiles.

  • I sure hate seeing comments accusing YOU of being cruel to these snakes. In my opinion, they are much better off with you, no worries about predators and other dangers. Everyone, including the little kittens, gets fed and watered, and taken care of beautifully! Just had to throw in my 2 cents! You're awesome!

  • Thanks :-)

  • I just discovered your videos here on youtube- I keep an albino ball and a corn. Id love a king, but I know Im not the type who should. It's great to see your talent- thanks for sharing!!!

  • i dont want to buy one but how much do u pay for venimous snakes .

     p.s just a estiment

  • 0 to $6000 each for the snake

a few thousand to death for the bite that comes with it.

  • that is a great video i could never do that with a king i would freak out

  • do u milk any of your snakes for antivenom sorry if i spelled it wrong

  • Today my friend asked me to go see 4 king cobras in a guy's back yard. I said, WHAT??? I immediately went to the store and bought a canon 500d with 720p video and we hit the road. 20 minutes later I'm looking at a number of (5+) monocled cobras in 1.5Liter water bottles. They're keeping them under some newspapers. It was sad and yet, still exciting as I've wanted to catch one for a while just not been ready. I gave some $ and he gave me 2! Videos to follow. I have an aquarium & will video feeds

  • hey cool snakes plz make more vids

  • My compliments, that has to be one of the best vids I've ever seen of a King. That guy is very unique.

  • This Cobra is a littlebit cute , ;D

    but .... dangerous o___o

  • i love it

  • if he is so laid back, why has he spread his hood?

  • Just a normal warning

  • Thank you. Ive always considered snakes very interesting but always been a lil scared of them. Your vid relaxed me bout them.

  • those snakes are aswome

  • 10:08 hey wat up lol

  • Are Your Snakes Calm All The Time Or Are Thy Vicious?

  • First let's fix so of the words you're using.

No snake is vicious, they can be foul & short tempered but not vicious.

Snakes react to their enviroment, if you don't frighten them they act calm, if you frighten them they have a tendency to frighten you back..get it?

  • hahha dude you are Halarious how u talk to ur snakes ur a JoKer

  • i like tht snake as a pet but with its poison stoppopped so it can kill me

  • 8:19-What type of snakes are those?

  • Bothrop atrox

    Common Lanceheads

  • amazing video and like your voice dudeeeee

  • I once disturbed a ?grass snake out of his hiding place in the Vienna woods, was so frightened I promptly threw up!. The snake eyed me as if to say you dirty sod!!!!

I've always been frightened of them but yet strangely drawn to them for that 2nd look when visiting Schonbrunn Zoo

  • You might not like living outside of Europe. Itis funny that there are few poisonous snakes in Germany. Here one sees snakes all summer - mostly innocuous but also there are copperheads, pygmy rattlers and cottonmouths - some timber rattlers in the mountains. They make me feel the same as you when I see them.

  • Good vid uddy, i love these snakes very pretty

  • Nice video! What does your wife think of your snakes?

  • She deals with it....lol She likes them better than spiders...

  • do you got any pet spiders/tarantulas?

  • No, I'm not allow to keep them.

  • "Hey u cant eat it sideways u bone head" LOL.

  • Please clarify.

  • like when their first been handle or if they get scared of been taking out of it's cage?

  • I like your little cobra! He is very curious. how many snakes do u have??

  • I'm a scientist, not an accountant. ~150

  • establish relationship? I thought snakes were purely instict? do they have memories?

  • No question they do...at least out to 4 or 5 years.

  • sweet, I love my snakes too.

  • @ 12:27, did he nod at the guy?? lol

  • Yes

  • ... really neat about the king Cobra! I really enjoyed this video!

  • I love Death Adders but they are varry fast. I watched a Video of one stiking a mouse, It hit the mouse Two time at the snap of a finger and it only looked like it striked once.

  • projectiles? as in things that fly through the air? maybe reptiles?

i liked the comment 'pogo sticks with venom'

  • why you enslaving snakes you stupid bitch

  • NIce handle...points out the fact that you're a Dick Head to begin with.

  • LOL well I guess he asked for that!!

  • too right. Nice video.

  • i looked at phalluses acount all he gets is hate mail nice

  • I like how nice he treats his snakes and you call it enslaving the snakes are living the good life

  • have you lost your mind?

  • omg ur crazy!!!!!

  • really cool

  • 17 feet is the current record

  • wow

  • Wow. I really don't know what to say. I've been afraid of snakes all my life and just recently went to a Serpentirium to try and conquer that fear a bit. My fav snake is the King Cobra but I don't know about letting it sit on my desk lol. My question is if you do get a baby King Cobra, do you still keep them when they get to that big length I've actaully seen up close and personally?

  • You feed your king cobra other snakes? How Often?

  • Depends on the snake, species age and life style all factor in.

Snakes do most of their growth in their first two years, so I give them fuel to do just that. Active snakes, mostly Elapids burn through food rather fast, so even adults need to eat more than a viperids.

The King currently eats 3-4 hoppers every five days.

  • Mr Viperkeeper, you are the Man, fantastic videos. Wonderful to see Snakes that you have only heard about. What fascinating creatures they are.

  • dude you are one weird mother fu*ker, get some freinds

  • Ah...another primative life form from the shallow end of the gene pool.

  • I love this quote Al!! I am going to be using it at youtube a whole lot! :D

  • Glad to lend it for use ;-)

  • have you ever heard of a term called biology? he is obviously a snake expert

  • I see in the beginning of the video many white and yellow warning labels. What do they say and where can I get some?

  • <
