God made you that way, and he loves you. He loves you more than you could ever imagine. This has just been shared with my 122 friends on facebook, and I hope they all watch it and become Christians, because just like Lacey says, God loves all of them so much and I want them to all have the oppertunity to pick life, and I thank God that he sent Lacy to give us all this message. Even though I'm a Christian, its really good to hear this message sometimes when I'm going through a rough time, or when something bad happens. Thank you God for Lacey, and thank you God for life.
the truth is God loves everyone. if you are homosexual, he still loves you but you are still sinning and hurting him. it is the same as struggling with lieing or stealing. sin is sin and we all struggle with sin whatever it may be. all we have to do is resist temptation and cling to God. it is not easy, but who said it would be?

@13rdrgz Everyone has amazing life stories that are awesome to hear, especially when they find their way to God. It's a process and it's for sure really hard each step you take. Being a Christian doesn't mean being perfect. Being a Christian means you know that there's hope no matter what because your life story is the purpose of finding your way and others to God. Showing them that their life has a purpose can save so many lives. That's why Flyleaf makes music.

I am someone who struggles with homosexuality but i love God so much its unimaginable. The truth is, i wish i was never gay. I never asked for it. I tried so hard to get rid of this 'sin' i carry. I confessed so many times but yet i can never get rid of it. It's really killing me inside and makes me feel like im not a Christian because i carry this horrible 'sin' that many people see is bad. It's so hard to get away from the struggle and temptations when you don't know if what you're doing is right or wrong. I just want to be in the right place and want to feel loved and wanted. @DoubleLifeiLead Don't let anyone believe you are less than them, or that being gay is 'wrong'. There will always be people that judge because of who you love, but please, don't listen to them. You don't have to get rid of this, you can be happy. You'll find friends that accept you for who you are and you'll find a man that loves you. When I was Christian, I felt empty, depressed, like I had a hopeless future and often considered suicide. That went on for a good 4-5 years (since 5th grade).
Now, though I've only been an atheist for almost a month, I feel a lot happier (in general) about living, like I'm going somewhere in life, and that there's much in store for me. :)

@dgmason03 Thanks Daniel. That's a really good advice and a good way to look at it. It's a process and it's really hard for me to be patient. It's so hard to get away from the struggle and temptations when you don't know if what you're doing is right or wrong. I just want to be in the right place and want to feel loved and wanted. @DoubleLifeiLead Don't let anyone believe you are less than them, or that being gay is 'wrong'. There will always be people that judge because of who you love, but please, don't listen to them. You don't have to get rid of this, you can be happy. You'll find friends that accept you for who you are and you'll find a man that loves you. My best friend is gay and he is the sweetest person I know. You're beautiful and there is nothing wrong with you. Please don't doubt that.

When I was Christian, I felt empty, depressed, like I had a hopeless future and often considered suicide. That went on for a good 4-5 years (since 5th grade).
Now, though I've only been an atheist for almost a month, I feel a lot happier (in general) about living, like I'm going somewhere in life, and that there's much in store for me. :)

@pineapplesRyummie NOTE: Lacey said struggling with homosexuality. We struggle with many sins. We LOVE many sins. Doesn't make it right to do it if we LOVE it. Listen to God. God loves ALL (murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, homosexuals, ect.) But we cannot continue in our sin and must turn away from it and seek Him over it. I struggle with many things too, DAILY. Sometimes I lose and something I overcome. But my attempts to change are evident.

@pineapplesRyummie first off unless you are God you have no say in what is sin or not. it is in the Bible more than one time. you either believe it all or none of it applies to you including Christ. and yes you can overcome it with faith and prayer to God. but if you don't want then you may choose it over God. it's 100% up to you. also NOTE Paul in one of his letters says if you approve of someone else's sin then you are guilty of approving things against God and the sin yourself

This... fixes my thought's that God saw me as a failure, and hated me. I am so glad..... this was said. Maybe this will help those, who feel the need to turn to drugs or suicide to deal with these feelings. This band has changed my life in so many ways, and continues to do so on a everyday basis. I wouldn't be missed, cared for, or even loved. But let me challenge you to this, how many people would care that your gone? what about your family? now, take that... then multiply it by infinity. Because if you die without having a relationship with God you will spend eternity without him, that makes Gods heart heavy.
