Wow...Amazing. The most difficult move and then that nasty fall...sliding across the ice...but then she stills pulls off the most beautiful and difficult program. The fall? Didn't even bother her and she went on to land TWO difficult triple-triples to win the title. Mao is a fantastic athlete and the composure and concentration she demonstrated here makes her a real champion.

Beautiful program. Her choreography just breathes with life. She may not have the solid toe-pick jumps and speed of Yuna, but I prefer watching Mao's connection to the music and ice. Exquisite! Keep it up Mao :)

People, stop hating. Mao and Yu-Na are both beautiful skaters in their own right. We don't need to pick one side and hate the other. I think they are both beautiful and incredibly talented. They both deserve the awards and recognition they have earned. There is no need to increase the amount of hate in the world. Sports is meant to bring people together. Just enjoy the beauty and strength of two of the most talented women in the world without the negativity!

Well then that's HER opinion, and I'm sorry to say that it is quite biased to say that Yu-Na is the only skater who can actually do a perfect jump. No skater can do a perfect triple or quad jump. They would have to take off and land perfectly veritcally off and on their blades, plus get a GOE of +3, something even Yu-Na cannot do unless the judges try to raise her score again. What about other famous skaters like DIck Button, Peggy Fleming and more? They love Mao and compliment her everything!
we all know that carolina is the tru winner!!!! Mao Asada won with money, not performance. 8 out of 10 main sponsors are from Japan. that says it all. If ISU wanna keep that sponsor they have to give Asada more points. this has been and is really dirty sport. poor carolina and yuna.
Wow. It takes an amazing skater to come back and to a perfect program after such a bad fall. I really respect Mao for being able to not let that mistake dictate how the rest of her program will go. She is a beautiful skater who did a beautiful job.
I think Nakano Yukari was better than Mao Asada. Nakano had better expressions and she attempted 3A and it succeeded(I know that it was not a perfect jump but it was better than Asada's sliding. Isn't it?). It was really unfair. If you see the protocol, you can notice that. One crazy judge gave +1 point to Asada's triple lutz and he(or she)gives +20 to Asada.
If you'd known how to read the protocol, you'd realize that the +1 for Flutz didn't count at all in the final score, because out of all scores given by the judges the highest and the lowest scores are thrown out, and the remaining ones are averaged. Also, how could one judge give anybody +20? That's pure nosense.
She won gold medal because her mistake wasn't worse than all the little mistakes made by Carolina. She felt, but she made a really good program. I'm Italian, but I have to admit that Carolina didn't deserve a gold medal.

最近のプログラムは難しい要素を入れ過ぎていて本来できるはずの
音にあったステップなどが生かされてない気がする。
個人的に振付師も飽きてしまったのでここらで新しい振付師に

Well then that's HER opinion, and I'm sorry to say that it is quite biased to say that Yu-Na is the only skater who can actually do a perfect jump. No skater can do a perfect triple or quad jump. They would have to take off and land perfectly veritcally off and on their blades, plus get a GOE of +3, something even Yu-Na cannot do unless the judges try to raise her score again. What about other famous skaters like DIck Button, Peggy Fleming and more? They love Mao and compliment her everything!

we all know that carolina is the tru winner!!!! Mao Asada won with money, not performance. 8 out of 10 main sponsors are from Japan. that says it all. If ISU wanna keep that sponsor they have to give Asada more points. this has been and is really dirty sport. poor carolina and yuna.

Wow. It takes an amazing skater to come back and to a perfect program after such a bad fall. I really respect Mao for being able to not let that mistake dictate how the rest of her program will go. She is a beautiful skater who did a beautiful job.

I think Nakano Yukari was better than Mao Asada. Nakano had better expressions and she attempted 3A and it succeeded(I know that it was not a perfect jump but it was better than Asada's sliding. Isn't it?). It was really unfair. If you see the protocol, you can notice that. One crazy judge gave +1 point to Asada's triple lutz and he(or she)gives +20 to Asada.

If you'd known how to read the protocol, you'd realize that the +1 for Flutz didn't count at all in the final score, because out of all scores given by the judges the highest and the lowest scores are thrown out, and the remaining ones are averaged. Also, how could one judge give anybody +20? That's pure nosense.

She won gold medal because her mistake wasn't worse than all the little mistakes made by Carolina. She felt, but she made a really good program. I'm Italian, but I have to admit that Carolina didn't deserve a gold medal.
