  • ive read that there are minimal moving parts, particularly right where you stuffed your bundle. also ive read that its better to connect the ground to the right shield since its also connected to the ground of the cartridge, and because not all cartridges are self grounded, it eliminates the need for a self grounding cartridge.

  • my technics are wayy difrent from the inside y?

  • On one of my 1210's the ground wire is just not there. What if I open it and its been ripped out completely? How would I go about replacing it?

  • Dude, it's bad to have all that wire dangling in there, you want to cut the ground wire to where it's as short as possible otherwise it can screw up your tone-arm functioning properly, I SUGGEST PEOPLE: DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUYS ADVICE ON STUFFING THE WHOLE GROUND WIRE IN THERE! REST OF THE TUT. LOOKS GOOD THO.

Have you had any issues w/ stuffing the whole ground in there?

Good tut. and not meaning to be a dick but that's the only bad part of this tut., otherwise good stuf!!

  • @FeeLtheHertZ You're probably right. I don't think there are any moving parts that it could interfere with, and since I have it wrapped nice and tight it should be ok. I haven't had any issues with these since I've done it and they're quite mobile.

Feel free to not follow that; it certainly won't affect anything if you don't.

Thanks for the view and comment!
