  • I studied this work for a graduate choral conducting course. It is an incredible work, and not for the faint of heart or the lazy of intellect. One might also listen to Penderecki's "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima." True, it's not a toe-tapper, but sometimes art forces you out of your comfort zone and makes you face a realm deeper than you thought existed. Art isn't always pretty music and pretty pictures.

  • You gotta have balls of depleted uranium just to ATTEMPT this piece. Kudos, Olies!

  • Danke dass man so viel vom Text versteht -.-

  • Probably the choir consisted 32 members and there were 12 people in the audience...

  • You can´t be serious about this?!

  • Gives me goosebumps ...

  • Don't mean to be critical but I don't like this song nor performance. Not only does It remind me of background music for some horror flick but lacks beauty. Realize it is my taste and someone does like it but I wouldn't rush out to purchase or go to some concert to hear.

  • I love singing classical music and I firmly believe that pianissimo requires the most energy and can be very exciting to sing. However, you have to give people something to hear! I am 2:20 into the thing before I hear a peep. True the volume on the recording could be increased a tad so I'm not maxing it out to hear them even when they are singing at a perceptible level.

    But this is RIDICULOUS!

  • @Baritone45 must be something wrong with your speakers. sounds great not even really that soft with volume up full.

  • @bbrondyke1 I agree with Bartitone45. Must be something wrong with my speakers too....

  • muy bueno, realmente felicitaciones

  • excellent!
