  • zack ryder stole this slogan lol

  • That was a young Rock in that picture was it not?

  • @ExtremeBogom Yes it's him

  • @ExtremeBogom he's debut

  • @37Freakzilla lol

  • Nobody cares about 8 old farts getting a trophy handed to them...HILARIOUS line

  • Damn I didn't realize Mark Henry has been in the WWE that long.

  • @Messiah717 since 1995-96

  • Stone Cold was so random lol

  • lol lawler said oh yeah like he forgot he was in the match

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA! Austin was the perfect compliment to Bret's character!

  • Man this stuff brings back some great memories.

  • Everything Austin did just felt real, he changed the whole out look of the wwe!

  • what an unadulterated badass

  • Stone Cold = legend.

  • Nobody cares about 8 old farts getting a trophy handed to them! Lmao! CLASSIC!!!

  • "Things like this is gonna get someone's ass kicked Doc!"

The Rock will always have great mic skills. Austin will always give the best interviews. Damn I miss these days!

  • 3 of the old 8 farts died and the remaining 5 disliked this video

  • Things like this is gonna get someones ass kicked....Stone Cold+WWE= Classic entertainment.

  • this is the real time for wrestling !!!!!!!

  • nobody cares about 8 old farts getting a trophy handed to em lol

  • this promo here shows how different the wwf was in '96 in terms of talent and target audience than it was a year earlier....(steve austin, the rock, mankind, marc mero, mark henry) i have the '95 survivor series on tape which featured (razor ramon, diesel, henry godwin, king mabel, hakushi, alundra blayze, skip, the 123 kid, barry horowitz, and bam bam bigelow)...

  • Randy orton is useless...the miz will create another era of awesomeness....

  • @TheMIZ787

That guy's an even bigger jackass than Orton. Era of Awesome? Sounds about as badass as Barney the Dinosaur.

  • @toophatpoyo I'm never again going to hear about Barney the Dinosaur without thinking of John Cena.

This was the night the best star in wrestling debuted.

  • @TheMIZ787 I'm sorry, but I saw "The Miz" and he is nothing more than a pompous ass claiming to be "awesome". I can't wait to see Stone Cold stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dey. The Miz is a pathetic excuse of a superstare and you damned kids never saw the real wrestling federation before it was pussified. Austin 3:16 says Mizs' ass is gonna get whipped, Stunnered, and trashed. The WWF died with Cena, Miz, etc., etc. and suck ass.

AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE, 'CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!

  • @KissMeImPunk i been a fan for very very very long time and i think the miz has great mic skills. if his wrestling caught up to his mic skills he'd be one of the best ever. he's damn sure in my top 50 best talkers and climbing.

  • @ratedtriplex I..I just can't see how he's even remotely decent at the mic. Also, the whole "I'm awesome" gimmick is really childish and it's cringe-worthy. Either they don't know how to act or it's coming off really cheesey and lame. Part of it is them, part is because of the writing crew. God damn the PG Era.

  • Because Nobody cares about 8 old farts gettin their trophy handed to em.

  • Wrestling was so great around this time in the 90's. I think WWE was actually better in the years of 96 through 97, just before the attitude era got huge...

This promo is as funny as it gets, lol.

  • back in 96-98, when stone cold was probably the angriest superstar ever, there was no one better at cutting a promo. austin in those days made hbk and hitman promos look like toilet paper. i like both of the aforementioned wrestlers, but it's the truth.

  • Comment removed

  • @eslubin no, he ain't you.

  • why dont they do stuff like this anymore...theyre so predictable and everything is so scripted/hollywood and they all sound and look fake

  • God, this is a great promo!!!

  • Austin in 1996-97 was so kewl!

    24/7 pissed off!

  • was def gonna get it but then i remembered im waiting on survivor series 2003 the royal rumble collection and unforgiven no mercy 2001

  • @blobbber88 cool gonna buy it

  • I AIN'T NO SEXY BOY!

  • 8 old farts,lmao

  • was this ppv any good?

  • LOL...i love these kinda storylines...it brings me back when wwf used to show up on 11 pm to 12 am just to make sure the kids are asleep but then cena came in with his damn PG spinner belts that dont look professional at all... after that prowrestling aint the same anymore..

  • @gagoshay

john cena with his stupid u can't see me phrase."

    Stonecold would whip his ass

  • LOL...i love these kinda storylines...it brings me back when wwf used to show up on 11 pm to 12 am just to make sure the kids are asleep but then cena came in with his damn PG spinner belts that dont look professional at all... after that prowrestling aint the same anymore..

  • lol Doc said NOV. 16

  • stone cold's character was based off of a masked murderer.. originally stone cold was a heel but due to the fans cheering him, vince decided to make him a sort of face

  • In December 1995, Steve Austin debuted in WWF as The Ringmaster. Boring gimmick undeserving of a great talent. One year later (just after this), Austin was a popular (yet heel) semi main-eventer, on the fast track to stardom. Thank GOD somebody in the office saw sense!

  • @azapro911 Believe it or not, it was both Vince Russo and Austin himself who were pitching the Stone Cold character to Vince McMahon after he won the King of the Ring. For awhile, it took McMahon a long time to open up his eyes and see that Austin was beyond most of the rest of the roster in that he was special. McMahon though, to his credit, still gave Austin air time when he still wasn't 100% convinced Austin could make him money

  • The way Stone Cold moves his head makes me laugh. It's like he actually believed he was stone cold.

  • stone cold was hilarious

  • I was at this event. The fans were cheering and went crazy when SID beat shawn for the belt

  • "See, it's things like this that's gonna get someone's ass kicked..." lol

  • @devron best line by far lol

  • @devron yep.

  • austin 8 old farts lmfao................

  • The Bret Hart vs Steve Austin feud was amazing.

  • @themanwithnoname86 Amazing is an understatement. Better word would be EPIC.

  • @fanuvgod1 IT was VINTAGE!

  • best survivor series right here.. 96. hands down!

  • I used to love waiting to hear Stone Cold cut a promo back then. They were fucking hilarious. Original heel Stone Cold rules!!!

  • i love how stone cold says nobody cares about a bunch of old farts getting a plaque and now he is the old fart with a plaque lol

  • he was barely 40 when he got the hall of fame induction

  • Comment removed

  • @jumar05 he got it this year u dummy at wrestlemania 25 in texas

  • excuse me, i was confused mometarily because he was a presenter at two hof's consecutively a few years ago, one for bret hart and one for J.R.

but nobody's a dummy except you...cause he's still not 45, and he was 43 then. dickhead

  • @jumar05 ha ha u were wrong again he was 44 when he got the hall of fame YOU REALLY DO LOOK DUMB

  • well he damn sure wasnt 45....U WERE WRONG FROM THE START

  • no he's an old fart with a ring

  • 90s wrestling was the best.

  • I absolutely loved Stone Cold as a HEEL at this point in time, but that people were getting behind him and thinking he was cool was kinda disturbing.

  • look at doc keep turning check stone cold coming

  • Things like this is gonna get someones ass kicked!

  • stone cold 0:20 got in there its funny

  • So is this when Russo started writing for WWF?

  • Austin is without a doubt the biggest name in wrestling since Hogan

  • cROCKOugh....cROCKough

  • Rock aint worth crap

  • and even bigger than hogan.. everybody knows that.. !

  • @YoungGrizzly82 And Austin could actually wrestle. All Hogan did was close-line and run his boot into people...and shake a lot. I recommend he stop drinking so much.

  • Yea austin was incredible in 1996. Great gimmick, great look, great mic skills, he had everything.

  • "See it's things like this..that's gonna get somebody's ass kicked DOC!!" LMAO!!!!

  • I wish someone posted Stone Cold's Livewire appearance from that year since that was just as hilarious.

  • Austin was the shit..

  • AUSTIN ROCKS

  • another funny movement from Stone Cold Steve Austin.

  • hahaha this is when wrestling was amazing

  • The Good Ol' days, the glory years when HBK was the WWF champion and the MAN of the business.

  • I think HBK should have 1 more title run before he retires

  • lmfao! nobody cares about old fats

  • that's the bottom line and the bottom line is at survivor series bret hart, stone cold steve austin is going to whip your ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • austin is the shit he kicks ass even in 1996 with that ringmaster theme then 1997 he started kickin more ass 1998 kicked more ass 1999 he kicked so much ass

  • Check out Dok's hand movements in the first few seconds!!!!

  • lol

  • Hunter Hearst Helmsley, aka Triple H, back as a midcarder. Those were the days, before he started bangin Steph...

  • What? He was a main eventer years before he 'started bangin Steph'.

  • no he wasnt, that whole Kliq thing put him in the dog house

  • Aww those were the days

  • stone cold's the man.

  • "Don't you dare sit there like a jackass with a pair of blinders on and ignore Stone Cold!!!!!, you get me on the camera and do your damn job!!!!!!"

haha Stone Cold Steve Austin is the man

  • @PENS68 classic austin,lol

  • LMFAO OWNED!!!!!

  • yea someone beat me to the punch saying 13 years later Austin is an old fart about to get one of those trophies. Also, you can actually have this match on the new "Legends of Wrestlemania" game....Stone Cold vs Michael P.S. Hayes (Dok Hendrix) LMAO

  • Stone Cold = greatest of all time

  • can u say FAVORITE? lol

  • Stone Cold is genious...lol

  • 8 old farts! LOL. Austin Hilarious.

  • Interesting.

  • between 92 and 96 the wwf fell asleep...until austin came in and whipped everyone's ass and flipped everyone off and revived the business!!!

  • yep, then Cena came along and made it PG.

  • hence ruining it for real wrestling fans

  • @lordcrumb07 yeah lol, cena trys to dam much thats why he sucks, austin had natural talent, he dosnt need to act tough he is tough. cena copied the rock too, the rocks always says '' just bring it'' and cena says '' want some, come get some'' its the same thing. and he also copied stone cold. stone cold flips off people and cena does hes little stupid '' u cant see me''. cena wouldnt survive one day in the old day, the OLD WWF!!!

  • @lordcrumb07 Cena came along and everyone went back to bed...

  • @jeffbrister2004 Between 2001-present, the WWE fell asleep again. But not only the WWE this time, the whole Pro Wrestling industry fell asleep. In order to wake up the industry again, TNA need to be more competitive just like the WCW and Randy Orton should lead us to another era just like Stone Cold did.

  • But in 2006 WWE was awesome, just many people don't know because they didn't watch it at all.

  • @loveturnshate tbf 2006 was the year i considered to be the final straw imo the only reason why i enjoyed was becuase of dx

  • @SFNDMK i think after chris benoits death vince made the company pg because little kids probably were to young to understand his death and thats why there is no mention of chris no more.

  • @lilzander84 thanks for your input and i do not mean this in any offense but my comment was referring to how ppl were getting tired of wrestling in general. altough u bring up a good pointt but if thats the case i dont really think vince should have gone pg because of what happenend with chris tbf

  • @lilzander84 Actually Vince made the company PG because his wife is running for Connecticut state senate..

  • @rankalot i no lol

  • @rankalot He made WWE PG because his wife is running for state senate? does that mean if she loses the election that it might go back to being PG14?

  • @jeffbrister2004 You got it right. I still watched WWF around this time, maybe it was the Undertaker and Bret Hart that kept me watching.

  • @jeffbrister2004 that's a slap in the face to hbk

  • @northregent perhaps but i was just being honest. when Shawn was the WWF champion WCW was destroying WWF in the ratings.

  • @jeffbrister2004 it was mankind that increased the violence level and main evcvented most of 1996

  • @jeffbrister2004 funny thing is, is that I'd take '92-'96 over now any day

  • Austin, guess what you are one of those old farts getting a trophy...but you know what you definitely earned it! Stone Cold made it all happen in the post-Hogan era!

  • Indeed, like Hogan before him, he helped launch the WWF into new heights in the attitude era. Austin was a new breed of superstar. He didn't give a rats ass what anyone thought of him. He did whatever the hell he wanted whenever he wanted, and the fans LOVED it.

  • Yup, I like both superstars. I hate the fact that the internet and today's "smart" fans have drawn conclusions about what went down between Austin and Hogan behind the scenes. I believe some of what's going on but egos or not if both men had their health I think we'd see it. . But that's wishful thinking on my part I suppose. I just miss the secrecy of the business dude! Either way though both Hogan and Austin were major reasons the WWF reached the heights they did in their respective eras!

  • Exactly, say what you want about The Hulkster, but he helped build the WWE as it is today. Hogan led the WWF in the MTV/Rock and Wrestling Era and Stone Cold picked up where he left off by leading it into the Attitude era. I don't like the smartass fans either, they think they know what happened when they can only assume what happened. This was an era where all the internet geeks who hid behind their computer had no idea what the hell was going on. lol

  • Austin is the man

  • "See it's things like this that's gonna get somebody's ass kicked Doc!" LMAO

  • no body cares about 8 old farts haha good old days

  • Austin is a legend and he's hilarious LOL

  • lmao this is funny shit

  • Austin you funny bastard!
