I would like to know why there never was a proper match between Jake the Snake and Rick Martel? The Blindfold match at Wrestlemania 7 doesn't count because they couldn't see each other. At Survivor Series 1990 they never squared off, and then at Royal Rumble 1991 it was just a brief fight to tease us. They feuded for at least 5 months and no proper match with these two fine athletes. It would've been a great thing to see because of contrasting fighting abilities. Any one know anything?

I always enjoyed Martel and I think his legacy is a bit underrated. I enjoyed him when he made his comeback to WCW, it was a shame that it was cut short.
