@runforthehills707 I'm glad someone else agrees. Originally it was just 1 and 2 and Michael and Sam Loomis died in an explosion, which imo was a fitting end to the first film. Halloween 3 was made as an original stand alone film and John Carpenter was then going to make another stand alone Halloween film to keep it fresh. But no! People wanted another Myers film even though the character had died! So that was that....

It's a shame too i'd of liked to of seen what he had planned next.
