atheism doesn't mean you go around actively speaking against a god. Take the prefix A = without. Then take Theism, the belief in a creator. Atheism = without god. If it counts, i doubt religion because it's violent and debatable. I would say most Atheists celebrate Christmas in the US. Christmas, according to American culture, is widely celebrated as more of a "secular" holiday than a "religious" one.
Our culture uses images of Santa Claus, Christmas trees, and bright decorations (which are all pagan) way more than it does with images recognizing the birth of Jesus Christ. And to say Jesus was born on December 25 is a complete joke.

If we were to celebrate the old Christian way, we would slaghter an animal in our yards and then set it on fire. PETA would be outraged and its not very child friendly. I was a Christian, but then I GOT educated and learned what forgiveness and pride are, and last time I checked, Christian conservatives especially, are some of the most boastful and self-righteous people ever. Just try to be a good person. If you know the truth, then you have to fight for it and not expect others to just believe. All I can say is be a new Christ.
