The passages that say women are unequal to me is only because the role of men have which is to protect women as they are bigger and stronger. So the are not necessarlily superior but more dominant in such that they have a more active role in some ways. Some may find this sexist but the truth of the matter is, in most situations women are just more domestic. Religion as an entity did not commit this crime, I would say more specifically the values and laws of a specific religion have been implemented by those in power, who have executed an innocent woman.

The passages that say women are unequal to me is only because the role of men have which is to protect women as they are bigger and stronger. So the are not necessarlily superior but more dominant in such that they have a more active role in some ways. Some may find this sexist but the truth of the matter is, in most situations women are just more domestic. Roles are changing and some men and women have switch roles but the passages are based on life hundreds of years ago. Interpretation is key

I have the translated direct quote telling quran readers to "Slay them [unbelievers] wherever ye find them" in my comment above. It's in the quran and it tells those who read it to kill me and many others. What reason does it give to kill? Disbelief!
If someone must interpret this for me, that's proof that at least a part of the quran was undoubtedly not written or dictated by an omniscient and omnipotent being, who'd have made it such that anyone could understand it.
