Zunes are more durable. Try to step on your Zunes or try your best to break them. The glass will break, but it will still work. The touchscreen and everything will still work as if it's new. Do that to an itouch, and let's see if its plethora of apps will save it.

Zune is just as good as ipods are. Except for zune doesnt have nearly as much apps as ipod does. But Zune has higher quality screen and is mainly designed for hardcore music listeners.

I would go for the zune. The UI is so much better n u can't compare it to the iPod touch .1-itouch are just iPhones with out SMS/call function 2- the iPod is just to wide to classified as a mobile music player, zune would fit that title way better. 3- I just dislike iTunes n it's way of transferring music. Also the iPod touch wasn't made with the idea of media player in mine. It was just a integration.

When you compare the abilities of the Touch and the HD, its pretty close, but when you compare the prices, it isn't a fair match. I'm going for the Zune.
Just FYI...I have both a zune and an ipod and whenever i download a song from itunes or rip a cd into i tunes it automatically shows up in the zune software already converted. It was a nice surprise. So you really can use itunes if that is what you want. Try it out yourself, download both programs

iPod Touches are BEAST!!! when you have the newest software... If you have a 1st or 2nd Gen and running iOS 4.0, The iPod can crash because Apple Programmed it to crash on older iPods. Zune is just as good as ipods are. Except for zune doesnt have nearly as much apps as ipod does. But Zune has higher quality screen and is mainly designed for hardcore music listeners.

Apple made hundreds of thousands of apps to turn your media player into a computer. People say "who the hell needs apps?" I say "who needs to pay $200 for a player with no apps, YouTube, accessories, has a small screen, Internet explorer, stuck in generation one from a company that gave up on the 2nd gen.

I would go for the zune. The UI is so much better n u can't compare it to the iPod touch .1-itouch are just iPhones with out SMS/call function 2- the iPod is just to wide to classified as a mobile music player, zune would fit that title way better. 3- I just dislike iTunes n it's way of transferring music. Also the iPod touch wasn't made with the idea of media player in mine. It was just a integration.

i prefer the zune. i feel it is easier to navigate and picture quality is best. i lik ethe desighn way better then the ipod. its more uniqe where ipod is blan and normal. plus im a PC.lol

@burnedwith Ask most Tech savy people and they'll tell you Zunes Mp3 and Mp4 playback is Way better ipod or ipad even 4th gen ipods. ive had ipods (nano shuffle touch) and I now own a Zune HD. its so much better when it comes to sound quality and FM radio and the videos look near HD on the player and look amazing on an HD tv

@mammy24 lol, thats because the zune software keeps (if at highest bitrate or FLAC) or upconverts (if low bitrate) all the music in your collection, and ajusts and tweaks the decible rating for each song without having to wait at all over the normal time it would take to transfer the files over the USB interface, pretty cool, doncha think?

Just FYI...I have both a zune and an ipod and whenever i download a song from itunes or rip a cd into i tunes it automatically shows up in the zune software already converted. It was a nice surprise. So you really can use itunes if that is what you want. Try it out yourself, download both programs

dude, the zune hd can sync music WIRELESSLY, thats awesome, especially if you misplace your usb cord, and the browser is pretty sweet, so is the HD radio, and the way it displays music, ipod you have an ordinary list, zune HD, you have this neat looking os that lets you choose wiseley and with quickplay

iPod Touches are BEAST!!! when you have the newest software... If you have a 1st or 2nd Gen and running iOS 4.0, The iPod can crash because Apple Programmed it to crash on older iPods. Zunes are awesome in general, cheap, and have TONS of memory. Sandisk Sansa's are cheap, are durable, but have little memory. :D

I think the only reason ipod is more popular is becuase its gimicky. All those apps is why its favored. but i buy and mp3 player for music not games thats why i have a psp -_-. Zune is better music and video quality anyway on the zune you can change it from the mobile internet version to normal desktop mode. so yeah same internet. also zune store is better.
