these aggressive dogs need to be banned. i have a Staff and it is constantly being attacked by JRs and the part. They run over to him and decide to bite chunks out of him for no reason. Never the Rotweilers, Dobermans, no...always the puny little idiotic JRs. They're lucky my Staff is passive and wouldn't hurt a fly.

If you have a jack russell and know about these dogs at all you would know this is the standard playing "mode" its usually followed with a play " bite" and a crazy dash around the room.

Jack russell are loud, tenacious and aggresive if you annoy them. its just a front.

it is partly the breed and partly the owner. you should never tease a dog. my boyfriend has a JRT and when i came 2 live here a few years ago he was a pshco dog. but that was because his ex's kids used to tease him so bad. he is much better now.

You shouldn't tease her -this is a sign of an animal that is stressed and laughing at it or treating it lightly makes her think she is supposed to be stressed and she will act lik this more often.

@KarliTopia - its defiantly not the breed at all!... I wouldn't be able to have her around my children if she acted like that. I can give my Jack a bone and take it away whenever I want without any problems. I have a vid of doing the "off" command and I can actually leave the room and she won't touch the treat. These dogs need constant attention, training, and leadership. They can be great dogs with the right owner.

@Doran345 His not that agressive, in most of the cases like this they do that for a couple of secounds if you tease them, but rarely that would bite you, and if they do bite they dnt mean to do it on purpose. Showing teeth just indicates not to do it again, or he will bite you ( but he wouldent its jst a threat). Most dogs do it and its only because there a bit angry but they get over it in like 2 secounds anyway,, so :)
