  • I wish I knew you. You have such amazing form and balance, you could have gone far. :)

  • She had absolutely no control. She just let him run straight to the jump at full speed and every time he stumbled after. If he was doing that she should circle him and not let him rush. Hurt him if you need to. Letting him do that is how she died. And I dont wanna hear any of you people say that I wouldn't know because I do I ride horses like that EVERY week and my trainer always makes me circle him/her and not let them jump out of control because you can get hurt. She obviously wasn't taught t

  • @rider2298 tbh i respect your oppinion but have a heart , shes gone -.- dont take the piss.

  • What a great rider... I just learned about your death and I can't believe it. I didn't know you personally, but I'm effected by your death. I think maybe because we share the passion of jumping and horses and we're the same age. The world has lost another talented rider and another horse has lost his partner...and that's reason enough for anyone to be sad. So tomorrow when I go for a ride, I'll make sure to take a few extra jumps in your honor. <3 R.I.P

  • ok lets all take a chill pill who realy cares how dangerouse it is i mean horse back alone is like the worlds 2 most dangerouse sprot sooo SHUT UP

  • GUYS OMG stop fighting over something gayyy RIP jess anywayz who cares if a caveletis is dangerous or not horse back its self is dangerous so just drop gosh

  • In reply to you ilovestarandscount its diffrent to any other jump because it was one of many of her last jumps in 2008 she jess RIP i glad though you where doing something you loved everyone misses you :( we know ur riding up there in heaven and u and boomer will some day meet again :)

  • crazywrangler5

thats true but the chances of it happening w/ stacked cavelittis r WAY greater than normal fences. if u knock normal fences made of poles, gates, ect. they have a lot more give & will normally just fall 2 the ground unless something really nasty happens. but w/ caveletti, a good knock will bring the pole down & have a much higher chance of trapping the horse's front legs becuase of the sides. i know bad things can happen w/ any kind of fence but its much more likely w/ caveletti!

  • If you watch another one of her videos jumping cavellettis, Boomer knocks the pole down and it falls like any other jump.

We don't need safety lessons. :)

  • i did not say if you knock the pole of stacked cavelletti, you will for sure trap your horses front legs. i said "a good knock will bring the pole down and have a much higher chance of trapping the horse's front legs..." i did not say any guarentees here! and obviously it does sound like someone does need a safety lesson =) and obviously some other people agree with what i have said if they posted thumbs up on my comment on my comment!

  • No, I do not need a safety lesson. That's what my trainer's for.

I hate it when people think they know everything.

  • did i say i know everything?

and you where actually acting like you knew eveything just as much as i was by saying i was wrong and you where right.

  • It just makes me mad how you would turn a video of a rider who has passed into a lecture saying what she did wrong.

Who cares? I don't want your safety lesson. I have jumped cavellettis before, many times, and nothing has ever happened. Just enjoy the video and don't complain about what Jess did wrong.

Great job Jess! Tell my boy M&M hello for me!

  • i didnt turn it into a lecture. i just wanted everyone to know that becuase i didnt want anyone else to get hurt! i wasnt trying to be a know-it-all, i just wanted people to know! i'm not complaining about jess at all and i think she looks like an amazing person!

  • b/c the top cavelleti is more than a pole. it can trap the horse's front legs!! i already wrote what can happen up there so read that!! ^^^

  • Any other jump can trap a horse's front legs too.

Look what happened to Christopher Reeves. That def. wasn't stacked cavelettis.

  • RIP JESS!!! i miss you so much!! i cant stop thinking about you, and i cant accept that you're gone. I just cant stop crying about it :(

  • that was great! just wanted to let every1 know that jumping stacked cavelletti is EXTREMELY dangerous! my trainer did it and her horse barely tapped the top rail and it fell so the horse fell and broke both his front legs and had to be put down. i know a lot of people do it but i just thought i would throw that out to prevent it from happening again!!!

R.I.P Jessica! I never knew you but you look like an amazing person!

  • amazing RIP

  • wow he's breathing hard!

  • haha cute
