A question regarding Teamviewer file transfer.

If I was to transfer a big file, say 250MB from a recipients computer in Africa to my computer in England would the recipient in Africa be paying for the internet upload or would I in England be paying.

The reason I ask is in England the internet is very cheap whilst in Africa many subscribers pay for MB.

@Aitheral Your friend will have it installed as well and when they open the program, the home screen will display it clearly. This way someone can only control your computer if you hand over control to them. It's like giving the keys of your car to a friend, not hotwiring it, although you are handing them a good amount of responsibility regardless. Hoped this helped.

@michelfankhouser Both computers need the software if you do it the way they recomend. The ID might just be the IP, not sure. Using the software on both would be a lot simpler since you don't have to worry about, administrative rights, firewalls, ports, or both computers not understanding each other.
