I'm the one who asked the question and I was so freaked out at David looking at me as he answered my question that I barely heard a word he said. Thanks for this video - just now really listened to his answer and of course it was an intelligent, meaningful response. I totally adore this guy! And yes, he can sing.

I believe that he is a good guitar player especially since he plays left handed and he has a good voice.I never knew who he was until I heard his song on the radio and fell in love with his music.He seems to be one humble person not someone who has let fame gotten to their head.I give him kudos for dealing with the death of his brother in the public media in such a short time yet acting professionally.I really want to see him in concert since he seems amazing even though others disagree.

I think most people agree with you, ics002, at least ones who have seen him live & have followed him since he won Idol. I listen to his interviews & watch him & I am completely impressed with him-not only as a singer & musician but as a wonderful man. I've been to 12 of his concerts this year & the GMA show recently and plan to go to several more. If money was not an issue, I would have gone to many more. I wish him all the best & I wish everyone could go see a live show. He is amazing.

I don't think bantering and being accessable is what he originally meant about the other 2 cards. I really think it was him singing songs he himself had written and that he is actually a songwriter as well as a singer, and, also, his vocal talent had not been fully shown doing the AI covers. Possibly, this might mean how well he can sing such songs as Hunger Strike, Man In the Box, till I'm Blue, etc.

I agree with everyting you said. I think as long as people remain respectful he will stay as approachable and accessible as he can. And by that I mean that I think people should not approach him during his private time IE out to dinner or just hanging with family & friends. Going to his concerts and meet & greets like this and after the shows are great. Any other times I think unless he initatiates it I think we just need to be respectful of him. Then I think he will stay just as he is now.
