In the English sub-culture of the early 60's, Georgie was highly regarded holding a regular spot at the hottest club in London "The Whiskey". Through him I learned about Mose Alison, Nina Simone, Lambert Hendrix and Ross, Lois Jordon etc., etc.. His version of "In The Meantime" always impressed me along with "Get Away", "Let The Sun Shine In", "Like We Used To Be", "Yea, Yea" (and many others). I believe Mitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendrix group played with Georgie for a while.
