two times he escaped though from the cage, one time in my dads office behind a bookcase, with food and a lollipop, then another time in my brothers closet, with food... and a lollipop lol. my family dosent even eat them though.

my hamster was the best. he was about 5 years old when he passed. He was so smart. I would give him baths. he was so cute. sadly, he ended up with a cancer tumor so we gave him anibiotics! He loved them. When you would say Teddy, he would run to the the end of the cage waiting for it. :)

you can't get rid of it, but you can heal the viruses in it with anti biotics. What do you mean i got taken for a ride though.

Tumours are rarely caused by viruses and when they are, it's the damage caused by a previous viral attack that causes the cells to replicate. And either way, you don't use antibiotics for viruses, they are only effective against bacteria.

How amusing. Cut and pasted from the first website that google came up with on searching xanthomycin. Japanese journal of Abx? Funny how the study was aimed towards humans.

Show me an antibiotic that is effective against viruses (which my original comment was about) and I will eat my hat.

In your small, poor quality study that you copied and pasted, the effect of the antibiotic on the tumour was probably a secondary cytotoxic effect, undesigned for.

Still doesn't change the fact that you can't treat a cancer with an antibiotic. :) As you have no idea what your talking about, I can assume your not in medical school. When you get into pre-med, you can have your teacher explain to you the difference in action between a cytotoxic and an antibiotic. For example, how is a B-lactam antibiotic, that targets bacterial cell walls in any way useful against eukaryotic cells without a cell wall?

The hamster's home looks unsafe and dirty. You should buy a bigger one and buy actually wooden shavings for it to live in. And no toilet paper that it could choke on.
