Enya kind of reminds me of a modern day version of Antonio Vivaldi, in that neither may be THE best musician of their respective ages, and yet one can always be sure that every musical piece they produce, is an absolute gem.

Enya is raw talent. The voice of an angel and the mind of a genius. I think most of us forget that she has composed almost all the songs of hers that we hear. And plays many of the instruments in them. Who does that today? She is amazing.

Enya fills a void in the entertainment world. So far as I know, there is nothing, or anybody that could do the same.

@Inquisitor53 You're right, I checked several sources (which I always do to confirm a statement) and they will even tour! I find that quite exciting. The closing of Aigle studio was not due to retirement but because it wasn't big enough for their plan to use an orchestra & choir. So the press making the statement of retiring was just speculation on their part from the closing of Aigle. That, or the Enya triumvirate pulled a fast one on the lame stream media. How clever of them! And I thank you.

@reapergirl12207 Well, I have to make a correction: After checking out the leads that "thecelticinme" gave me I'm here to say I was in error about her retirement.

The reason for the closing of Aigle studio was not due to retirement as the press had everyone (including me) believing, but because that studio was too small for an orchestra & chorus. So not only are they going to record another CD (at Abby Road Studios) but also tour! So I think we should all rejoice at such joyful news!

Comb of the Winds is track 2 off ep Amarantine(its not found on the single disc version of the lp of the same title:( ) wea397cd2. Also found on this ep is track The Spaghetti Western, previously unreleased from BBC doco The Celts.

I'd love to see enya release a second long box of her life's work so far, with all the b sides, perhaps a few extra acoustic live studio tracks for the mix and a complete discog with album/single art included in the booklet. The Cure long box is a fine example of this

The reason you don't find this song on the album is because it isn't there... but on Amarantine SINGLE... is what is written on the description...not the album...
