They just wanted to be really funny in every way they could. They even got a British writer, Barry Took to join the team. All these people ware so skilled and quick witted.

god, i wish this show was still on the air! they used to show repeats of laugh-in on the trio channel before the channel was taken off the air.... i miss that. this show is pure comedy gold.
